Bark n’ Park is owned and operated by Lynn Tagliaferro, a graduate in animal science at Purdue University. She has owned and trained both horses and dogs for over twenty years and regularly competes in dog agility trials. The planning and design of our facility took over twelve months. Lynn researched numerous other day care facilities, and used the best concepts from her research to build what we believe is the finest day care, boarding, and training facility on the North Shore. Careful design consideration was given to make Bark n’ Park a safe, clean, and fun place for your dog to stay and play. Daytime activities at Bark n’ Park revolve around daycare, as all of our boarding pets are automatically enrolled in that program. Daycare is the daily play option we have at Bark n’ Park. Depending on the weather dogs will play with the group outside on our soft surface, or indoors in our large padded play room floor. Daycare is always supervised by staff, and dogs are separated based on both their sizes and temperaments. If you are not sure how your dog will react in our daycare setting we can arrange an appointment to assure you that they will be comfortable and happy in our space. Bark n’ Park also offers bathing for dogs before they go home from a stay with us, or just dirty dogs that need to come for their regular bath. Baths include a nail trim, double rinse and shampoo, and blow dry. Our Bark n’ Park crew always looks forward to meeting new dogs, and we love to see the regulars! Whether you are going to be gone for a couple of hours, or a couple of weeks we really hope you consider Bark n’ Park, when you want the best care for your best friend.
