As soon as rain subsides..I will evacuate horses. All of them....friends who can take my horses ....they expect it flood across 18 by Wednesday.... Ugh...here we go again....I need y'all to come get your tack also...I'll have enough tack to move. It's completely possible my house may go under this time....new kitchen and all. Please lete know who can take HORSES...I have a day or two .....maybe!

This dog is in MR WILBERS field ...it's coming down my driveway...and I have to lock my dogs up ...there were two.. yesterday.. today only one....please if it's yours ...I try hard to keep mine home but when it sits in the driveway..my dogs go run it off....across 18

Well, I saw a flaw in my self this evening....as I watched our visitor this evening I realized... I was lacking something from what I saw in her....we're going to work on ....listening and waiting....to our horse...we over rode a lot....the blindfold is coming and we're turning on the FEEL SENSOR. And our newbies were awesome 💯💪

Copied from NBHA ....Wow what a week…if you were not at the 2024 NBHA Florida State Championship you missed one heck of a show! I can’t say enough about the group of people who come together to put this event on Linda Jones has built an amazing village!! Starting with our arrival crew who work tirelessly to get everyone settled into stalls and hookups, to our amazing arena / gate crew, to the office staff, announcer, and most important the tractor crew…they kept the ground safe, consistent and amazingly fast all week!! 🚜
I think we avaerged 67 horses an hour 🤠

We had a double today...i haven't felt great since Thursday evening....I hauled over to BRANFORD two trailers ....unhooked and drove home from NBHA....RESTED...loaded two more trailers and went back for the night ride.....wasn't great...I definitely didn't have enough....HORSES ARE SORE AND EXHAUSTED...this week will go different... it'll be all about ...HEALTHY HORSES...we had great runs ...good runs fair runs and pretty bad ones....I couldn't get anything right all day....these days make me look at all the fantastic days....and wonder about the difference...it's definitely...just me....just know I did my best for today! Better luck next time I guess!

Such a fun night... Except for lame horses.... Abigail Deland joined us with her crew at SRRC . Got to watch my old babies and new ones ride ......then Katy Montgomery Goldie joined us with BROOKIE and lent Gisselle a horse when we ran out Of horses...the Owen were there ...great night of my old customers and friends!!!!..DOK. is down BUD...Carmella... LEO ...ZIVA and Butter bean...so we have to work on getting replacements temporarily while they heal ..! We had a special night. My family... not horsey folks came to watch....quit a treat for me...BUT BEAT OF ALL....MY RIDER Rode THEIR HEARTS OUT and did good.

Well, it was beautiful day ..the rain held off finally...got to live Florida weather...NEVER KNOW!!!! KIDS are on their STATE RIDES....so still need some practice....we also seasoned our two newbies... Gisselle Landos MISS SPICY went in and did time only....first indoor pen and RONNIE'S mare went in like she was seasoned already...We been needing...NEW RIDES and these two help...some of mine ate getting pretty close to retirement 😀 like me...ALL IN ALL....I WAS PROUD OF ALL my RIDERS!.

So my nerves got me..I had to go in that arena...everyone was on a new horse .. getting set for STATE....It definitely went better than expected thru some...other rides ...you might could tell the rider had no experience with that horse .. my job is to TEACH....NOT WIN for you. If you win along the way...I'm thrilled....but no gifts here. You want to ride...work for it at DOK...you will always get the unexpected....I make trainers .not just riders ...if you stay long and work hard enough...proofs in the pudding
