Moving day is next weekend, so we will be closed on August 2nd and 3rd! We wanted to give you guys a little bit of info before we move on what will be required for your pup's appointment once we have moved.

Prerequisites for your grooming appointment:
All dogs scheduled for pampering in our dog grooming salon must be up-to-date on their Bordetella, Parvovirus/Distemper & Rabies vaccinations. All required vaccinations must be administered at least 24 hours before your pet’s appointment.

Moving day got moved back a week. That's honestly for the best because all four of us at Ace & Canti's tested positive for COVID today. We are closing for the weekend and will regroup on Monday to see how everyone is feeling. If our groomers are feeling better, they will be back to work with limitations as they see fit and with strict precautions!! Best wishes to everyone!

Hello! We would like to address a few things that have been snagging a bit recently. We are currently still operating at our original location

We are waiting for the final steps in moving over to The Dog Stop - Lake Charles. Don't worry, when moving day happens, we will let everyone on our schedule know the day before your appointment! 💕

We are currently operating without a receptionist and will not have one until we move. We thank everyone in advance for having patience with us as we are trying our best to get back to everyone as soon as we can. If we do not return your call until the end of the day, it is because we are giving all of our focus and attention to the pups in our care.

We are experiencing delays in receiving voicemails. We've recently discovered that voicemails aren't showing up on our phone until 2-3 hours after they are left, so we apologize for any chance that we have not been able to get your message. We have even had cases where the voicemail hasn't come through at all.

Our groomer, Aubrey has unfortunately had to have an emergency appendectomy. We are uncertain of how long it will take before she's feeling well enough to come back and groom her favorite pups so we thank you all in advance for your patience as there will be longer wait times to get in for an appointment. Please keep Aubrey in your thoughts as she recovers.

Who are Ace and Chanti?

Ace and Chanti are two wonderful dogs that came into my life in 2012. Ace is a shih t'zu with strangely long legs and Chanti was a standard poodle. They belonged to my manager at the time. I was working at a corporate salon as a bather. We later formed a close friendship and decided to branch out on our own. To make a long story short, I had found out that my former manager, then business partner was embezzling money and had severely neglected her dogs. She eventually left town, abandoning Ace and Chanti at the salon that we had built together with our entire team. I brought Ace and Chanti to my home and my sister and I worked together to get them healthy and happy again. Chanti passed away in Decembler of 2018. It was a very sad, and heartbreaking day. We loved her so much. It just felt right to name this business after them because they had so much love from everyone in their life other than those who abandoned them. We dedicate our lives to giving all of the love and care that we can to the pets that come to us. Thank you for reading our story.
