Hunter, a Maltese puppy, received private training to establish potty training, better manners, and basic obedience. His excitability made it challenging to teach him to sit, but we achieved consistency by the second session. After four sessions, Hunter had improved impulse control and was left feeling exhausted.

We had a great morning at Lake Charles Charter Academy for their career day. Bootsie and Murphy loved showing off tricks and getting all the love!

Max is a cavapoo puppy enrolled in our board and train program. He is here to jumpstart his potty training, learn basic obedience, and build good manners. Max has been going through a fear stage so we’ve made it a priority to build his confidence and introduce him to things slowly.

Buffy is a three month old cava poo. She finished up her in-home private sessions today. Throughout the last four sessions she has learned sit, down, leave it, drop it, focus, touch, stay, wait, place and coming when called. She is eager to please,has a ton of energy and definitely keeps mom on her toes. Buffy brings so much joy to her mom.

Meet Bear, a golden doodle that has been staying with us for a 3 week board and train! We’ve made great strides in his attention and walking skills in public. Excited to see all the adventures that await Bear! 🐾

Lola recently finished up private training with us. After being attacked by another dog and rushed by other off leash dogs, going for walks were not enjoyable. She is also a rescue and seemed to be a little timid. So over the last 4 weeks we have been building her confidence and last night we really saw just how far she has come. She didn’t cower at every bark, she maintained her composer as another dog was off leash, her body language remained loose, she even enjoyed being in the grass, and relaxed as her mom and dad walked away. Before our sessions she would shut down and constantly look for an escape. Good job, Lola and family! Now on to group classes and building even more confidence.

Maizie is a 5 month old golden retriever who just finished up in home private sessions. She has learned sit, touch, focus, stay, wait, leave it, come, place, and more. She will be advancing her training in a couple weeks and I know she will excel!

Max

Antonio is a six month old Irish doodle. He has been enrolled in our in-home private training sessions and we finished with a trip to Prien Lake Park. Antonio and his parents finished strong and I cannot wait to see how far this pup goes. Bijoux is now 16 weeks and she has been excelling in her board and train with us. She now rings the bell to potty, stays mostly on our left side, no longer thinks the blind cane pole is a toy, and follows the rest of her obedience cues. Max is a 5 month old golden doodle. Our focuses for Max are obedience, impulse control, and better manners. He had the hardest time with the cues Down and Place, so we switched to the capturing technique and were able to build those two cues with him. It was rewarding watching him think through the process.
