Today we are celebrating Riley's 5 year anniversary with us. 🤩
Riley is one of our fabulous Customer Service Representatives. She has seen many of our clients and their pets so many times throughout the years that she now has a special bond with them. She will most likely have you checked in for your appointment before you even enter the front doors. We can trust that she will always do everything in her power to make everyone feel like home when they walk through the door. Riley always knows how to make us laugh and is such a special part of our team, we are lucky to have her.

🐶What is your pet's funniest quirk or habit?
-My dog Aggie's got plenty of quirks but the funniest to me is that even though she's only about 12% pit bull, she thinks it's 100%. She's got a tiny little body but a big bark and loves to make sure everyone knows she thinks she's a big dog.

🐶What is your favorite part about working at an animal hospital?
-My favorite thing about working at an animal hospital is building a bond with patients and their families. I see some of them so often that we get to know each other a little more and It's always nice to know them on a more personal level, and of course get extra love from their pet that I have gotten to know and love as well!

Today we are celebrating Madi's 5 year anniversary with us. Madi knows the hospital through and through. You can find her assisting doctors with appointments, helping with surgeries and also caring for very sick patients in treatment. We can always trust Madi to be the biggest advocate for all the animals that come to our clinic. Her compassion and big heart shines through everything she does. She is a true example of taking care of and standing up for the ones that can't speak for themselves. 💕

🐾What’s one thing that you would want people to know about your job that they normally don't?
-How much love and affection almost every single patient gets when we take them back 😊

🐾What is the most fulfilling thing about working at an animal clinic?
-Seeing a once critical patient that you spent a lot of time with coming back in looking healthy as ever!

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we wanted to express how grateful we are for our clients!

A few weeks ago, we had an emergent situation- a patient that possibly swallowed batteries. After a quick examination and radiographs, it was confirmed that the patient had eaten 3 lithium-ion batteries which is considered an emergency as they can be obstructive and cause severe tissue damage.

Thanks to our amazing clients and staff who have generously donated to our Paisley Paws in-house emergency fund, our doctors were able to quickly operate and remove the batteries. We are so grateful to be partnered with Paisley Paws foundation that allows us to provide life-saving care in a crisis and give back to our community.
The patient has made a full recovery at home.

-My favorite part about working at an animal hospital would have to be interacting with all of our amazing clients and being able to watch as they add new members to their family.

🐶What is the one thing you can't live without at your desk?
-I absolutely cannot live without my giant water cup, and I've got to have my favorite pen

🐶What is your pet's funniest quirk or habit?
-My pet's quirkiest habit is that she loves to do lopsided cartwheels when she is excited. They're never perfect but they're always adorable

🐶If you could be any animal for a day, which one would you choose?
-I think I'd have to be a cat. More specifically Tabasco Phillips ( our hospital cat), so I could cause chaos and lay behind everyone's computer where it's most warm
