Happy Saturday! I apologize we've been so quiet lately. I've had to limit my screen time due to a concussion. But I'll be slowly getting my everyday life back on track. I may be slower to respond, so please be patient.
Here's avideo shows how refreshing their blankets causes wrestle mania in the kitten kennel EVERY time lol

Please read and watch. Ignore the loud fan and dirty water. (I was cleaning and feedind before bed.)
Anyone wondering why anyone would keep working with a timid or feral cat instead of automatically placing as barn cats...
This is Chelsea. She has been absolutely terrified of people since coming to us VERY pregnant. Although she hissed at us at the beginning, I could reach right in and handle her babies without too many problems. Because of that, they're all very social, but Chelsea still struggled with trust. Here we are a couple months later and she's learning we won't hurt her. She was recently spayed, so it set her back for a few days, but here she is, cautiously letting me pet her π₯°
*Paisley (next to her) is available for adoption

Georgie and the others enjoying some sunshine before the next few days of rain!
He doesn't know his own size and wants to play like a puppy now that he's feeling better. Ignore the noisy ones that sounds like they're going to eat each other. That's how they play lol
This was a short video to show Georgie after his dinner. Since he can't have full sized meals, he eats one more small meal just before bed to avoid his stomach being empty overnight. He Have a good days and bad days, but we seem to have more good ones now. You spoke with a vet and it can cost up to $500 just to get the official diagnosis and see the severity of it with X-rays and likely a barium swallow. That vet is approximately 1 hour away from us but has some experience with megaesophagus

As mentioned in previous posts, Georgie is a very special boy AND special needs. We were unaware he had issues until he was transported to us. We have spoken with the owner and we're told he has had noticable signs of megaesophagus since he was approx 6 weeks old.π₯Ί
WHAT IS MEGAESOPHAGUS?
Megaesophagus in dogs is a disorder in which the esophagus gets larger in size and consequently loses its ability to transport food to the stomach. Dogs with this condition have varied levels of severity and are at high risk of complications and even death from aspiration pneumonia. They require upright (vertical) feeding, and small feedings multiple times daily.

We're not sure why, but some words cut out in the beginning of the video. It should say, "And their special needs 8 month old brother".

Talk about sweet girls π₯°
(Ignore the litterbox. I was in there to scoop)
Ruby & Genevieve love attention. Ruby is a little more shy than Genevieve, but both welcome chin scratches anytime! We'll be getting them in as soon as possible to check for pregnancies. If neither is pregnant they'll be available for adoption soon after their spay and vaccinations. If they are pregnant, they'll be available for our 'Meet Your Mamma' program!
