Jade, who's been a pack member here since the beginning of BARK, and Hank. A perfect example of the mutual benefit in keeping all ages of dogs together -- the old teach the young, and the young keep the old in shape, both physically and mentally.

I've been posting videos on this page for years, and usually the audience is a small group of dog owners in my pack, and area people that are interested in my services. That was until the video of Sky I posted on December 24th. As of this morning, it's been seen 1.8 million times and still climbing. It's been an amazing thing to watch happen over these last few days.

Welcome to all our new followers. BARK is a small, family owned kennel in Minnesota, run by my wife, Katie and I. There's one thing I try to show in my pictures and videos- my love for dogs and the way they behave naturally when we humans get out of their way. Everything I do is meant to give them experience as a pack, like nature intended. They know how to be dogs way better than we humans can ever tell them to be, and I'm happy to be a canine playground monitor, more or less.

Every dog that regularly rides the daycare bus has developed unique routines for getting on and off the bus. This is Sky. She's the kid on the elementary school bus that can't wait to run home to tell mom about their day. And, yes, I did check for cars on a quiet residential street before letting her and Oliver out.

This is my dad, Dave, and where my love for animals started. Now 92, his last dog was Hamlet, a great dane, who passed away well over a decade ago at 16 years of age. I have some of the best owners around, so every time Romulus the great dane comes for a stay, I'm able to take him in the bus for a visit with my dad. To see his eyes light up when he sees the big dog is wonderful.

Our family's relationship with animals started with my grandfather, Alvin Bremer, and my grandmother, Peg. Back in the late 30s and 40s they had the largest captive herd of whitetail deer in the state, located on three different properties in Lake City, Hastings and Outing (Northern Minnesota). Over the following decades, it only got more diverse (species-wise) from there.

Continued stroll down memory lane, and more of the reason I chose to do what I currently do. My mom, Patti, gave elementary school tours to schools from all around the area. When my class came for it's tour, I'd go in the house and watch TV (all 4 channels back then) until the tour was over and then walk back to school with my class.
