We will be closed this week for lessons to give our ponies some much needed time off after camp! We will resume our normal lesson schedule starting Sunday, July 28th!

Beginning March 2024 I will be opening 1-2 stalls available for basic or training board.

Boarding includes:
10x12 stall with fan
Shavings
Feeding 2x per day
Lunch hay as needed *hay provided by owner
Grain (Triple Crown)
Turnout on 6 acres of pasture with 4 board fencing
Barn manager lives on site
Camera security
Arena available for riding with barrels and jumps
25 minute drive from o’leno trails
10 minute drive to the oaks equestrian center
$750/ month

Training board:
All the above + 2 training rides per week and one lesson per month
$1000 / month

Huge congrats to Kam and her OTTB Starship Mercury on a very successful showing at majestic oaks this past weekend!

Warmed up in 2’3, finished 3rd out of a very competitive field of 19 in 2’6 and made their 2’9 debut with only 2 unfortunate rails but a beautifully piloted round.

Ready to crush more goals in 2024 with all of our ponies and people!

Carol is such a huge asset to our barn family and we have loved having her share her knowledge with us! We are so beyond excited to welcome one of our new instructors, Carol Ogden, to our Barn Family!

Carol has a list of accolades too long to list but some highlights include:

** Taught riding lessons at Camp Bobbin Hollow in Amherst, MA (The USA’s 2nd highest rated horsemanship camp), working with beginner and intermediate riders during the summer and winter months after college.
** Showed hunters/jumpers since 1959. Was an organizer and president of the local hunter/jumper association in Gainesville, Fl. for 9 years. Still judges hunter shows, 4-H shows, and Pony Club Show Rallies.
** Competed in Florida’s first combined training event at Gold Leaf Farm in 1974.
** Has brought two horses along through Preliminary level. Ima Showboat was evented at Preliminary level as well as shown as an Open Hunter concurrently before his untimely death in 1989. Her grey Thoroughbred, After Dark, was Area III Training Champion in 1993, and in 1998 was Area III’s Preliminary Champion as well as AHSA Zone 4 Preliminary Horse of the Year.
** Her horse, In Rhythm, won the Area III Novice Championships in 2004, and in 2005 was Overall High Score Senior Training Horse in Area III, and ranked 5th nationally. Carol was ranked #2 nationally as Master Training Rider in 2005.
** Her current horse, Get Smart, is an OTTB who raced until he was 9, and is now in training to event.
** Founded the Florida Horse Trials Assn., Inc. in 2003 to promote eventing in Florida. (see website www.floridahorsetrialsassn.com)
** Currently is a licensed Technical Delegate for USEA/USEF.

🤍🤍🐎 Carol is available for lessons on Wednesday/Thursday afternoons (our Thursdays are currently FULL) and is also available in the morning on select days for those interested!
