Today was a busy day! While Mara and Dixie practiced passing near other dogs, Bern worked on his recall around bigger distractions. Meanwhile, Bear was put to the test and held his sit stay- being able to watch other dogs pass by and not losing focus on his handler. Good job pups!! 🤩

To wrap up our “meet the trainers” month-my name is Jon, I am the Manager and a trainer here at The Dog Wizard. I started working in the dog industry in 2021 as a kennel technician for hunting dogs. I quickly discovered my interest in training capabilities for working breed dogs and was fortunate to start training soon after. In 2023 I moved to the metro area and started training at The Dog Wizard where I learned about the psychology behind behavior modification and overall obedience training. My main goal is to help people understand what might be going on in the mind of a dog and how we can help you and your dog have a great relationship through training.
