From Sheryl: Jasmine completed her first novice agility trial today with the Twin Cities Lhasa Apso Club. She qualified, took first place in the 8” jump category (full disclosure there were only 2 dogs jumping at that height) and completed the course 26 seconds ahead of the average time. She is such a fun little dog! I can’t thank the agility trainers at Animal Inn enough for all of their excellent instruction and encouragement.

As winter sets in, it’s a great time for a reminder to keep your dog home if they’re sick. Kennel cough and other infectious diseases can spread quickly, and it’s up to all of us to protect the health of our canine community.

Even if your dog is taking antibiotics or is no longer symptomatic, they may still be contagious. Please ask your vet when it’s safe for your dog to come back out in public.

If you need to withdraw your dog from a MAC trial due to illness, please reach out to the trial secretary as you may be eligible for a refund. We appreciate your help to keep our trials safe!
