🎃 October Pet Safety: Keep Halloween Fun for All! 🎃

Halloween can be a spooky good time, but it’s important to keep our furry friends safe from hidden dangers. Here are a few tips to help your pets enjoy the season:

👻 Watch the Treats!
Candy, especially chocolate and anything with xylitol, can be toxic to pets. Keep all sweets out of reach, and have pet-friendly treats on hand instead!

🕸️ Costume Caution!

If you’re dressing your pet up, make sure the costume is comfortable, non-restrictive, and doesn’t have small parts that could be swallowed.
🧙‍♀️ Keep the Door Closed: Trick-or-treaters can cause stress, and open doors increase the risk of pets running out. Create a safe, quiet space for your pet to relax.

🎃 Decorations Dilemma: Avoid candles, small décor, and electric cords in pet-accessible areas. These can cause burns or lead to choking.

Keep these simple tips in mind, and your pet will be happy and healthy this Halloween! 🐾
