A few hours ago we took in a poor green iguana suffering from an extreme case of metabolic bone disease (MBD). He was not fed, housed, or otherwise cared for properly and has a long road to recovery. It's always rewarding when we are able to help animals that have had a rough history become happy and healthy again. When we first got this little guy he wasn't eating on his own and had a serious case of metabolic bone disease. But as you can see he loves his superworms, and while he still has a ways to go in his recovery he is making great progress. It's only because of the support we have from the community that we are able to do what we do. We want to thank everyone for your generous support to help little guys like this get better and eventually find good homes!
