Alfie wants to let everybody know that starting today August 20th 2020 Animal Gardens petting zoo will be opening at 11:00 am daily rather than 10:00 am. Our new hours are 11:00 am until 4:00 pm . Alfie hopes you will come see him soon!

Porcupine Enrichment with a fire hose

Enrichment is a very important part of our animals day here at Animal Gardens. Enrichment helps satisfy the physical and psychological needs of an animal. Here is Pins and Needles our two African Crested Porcupines enjoying a puzzle feeder made out of an old fire hose! They worked really hard to get some of there favorite snacks out of the braided materials and had lots of fun doing it! Come meet Pins and Needles on our train ride down the wildlife trail here at animal gardens! We are open Tuesday through Sunday 10 am until 4 pm.

Cleopatra enjoying a nice run on this beautiful Saturday! Did you know Emus can run at 50km per hour, which is faster than Usain Bolt, the fastest man. Come visit Cleopatra and her sister Juliet here at animal gardens!

Milo and Otis also enjoyed playing tag with there new friend Willow!

Ali the ring tailed lemur said there is absolutely nothing better than a good grape! Come see Ali and her friends this summer at Animal Gardens we are open Tuesday through Sunday 10 am until 4 pm!

Pika our coati says there is nothing better than banana and super juicy watermelon! Did you know the coati has an amazing sense of smell and can rotate it’s nose 60 degrees in every direction! Ferrets

Welcome Sid, Zeke, and Scrat to the Animals gardens family! These guys are 4 month old ferrets! The word “ferret” is Latin meaning “little thief.” Indeed, one of the ferret’s favorite activities is stealing and hiding things but the only thing these boys will steal is your heart! Don’t forget we open on June 2nd! Come meet these adorable boys!

Needles enjoying some breakfast

Did you a porcupine has about 30,000 quills on its body! Those quills are made of about 10-12 pieces of hair covered in keratin the same material as a human finger nail! Here you can see all of Needles quills while she enjoys some breakfast.

Our Story

Welcome to Animal Gardens Theme Park, our beautiful, 40-acre venue which serves as home to The Dancing Horses Theater and Echo the talking and singing parrot, most noted for his recent appearances on America's Got Talent, as well as 16 species of exotics and over 60 hay-eating animals. We are a perfect destination for field trips, family outings, and other special interest groups. Located in Delavan - under 10 minutes from Lake Geneva Wisconsin, our scenic park has something for everyone: Visit our interactive Baby Animal Barn where you can pet, hold and feed exotic and farm animal babies. Then, roam or ride our manicured trails which will guide you to several of our exhibits including our Wildlife Exhibit, where you can see animals that are indigenous to Wisconsin as well as some exotics. Your Wildlife adventure comes complete with a visit to our deer park where you can hand-feed the deer. Next, venture to our Indian Village, where peace and tranquility transport you to a different world. Don't forget our interactive petting zoo and our trails that take you past larger exotics and our pond, where you can enjoy a boat ride and paddle with our swans. Make plans to visit Animal Gardens between May 28 and Oct. 31. While you're here, don't forget to visit our highly acclaimed year-round attractions: The Dancing Horses Show, a live equestrian extravaganza which has been described by journalists as a blend between Las Vegas and Disney, and our Exotic Bird Show, featuring eight large parrots that talk, sing, and perform tricks.
