At this time there are no reports of any atypical canine infectious respiratory illness in Michigan dogs. Here is a link regarding what pet owners can do if indeed this disease shows up.

There are a multitude of pathogens that cause respiratory disease in dogs. Veterinarians and diagnostic laboratories are working with state and federal agencies to identify a cause in recent cases.

This gal is looking for her forever home. Mutual client of LVC & SunDog Kennel. Rehoming due to owners health.

☀️ Two years old
☀️ Golden/Poodle mix
☀️ Spayed
☀️ Current on vaccs
☀️ Abby will come with 6 month supply of monthly preventatives
☀️ Crate trained
☀️ No known major health issues - slight seasonal allergies but already under control
☀️ Fun social, does wonderful in town & on outings
☀️ Has her basics down, does need some consistent work on leash work/pulling & recall

☀️ Cats-ok, kids-ok (however likely won’t place with little littles unless you’re super dog savy, she is not aggressive and very good with kids just very strong), dogs-generally all ok (tho she can be a bully to timid medium size dogs).

☀️ She is a lot of fun & high energy! But once she gets her exercise needs met she is a pretty chill dog and has an OFF switch and will lounge on the couch. She has some initial wild-ways of excitement, still learning, and for being her age she does not always show well at first and that tends to scare some people away. But please remember there is a lot more to dogs than the first two minutes you meet them! She is a young vivacious dog full of life and energy who needs a strong leader who can establish her rules and boundaries. All dogs needs time to settle in and adjust during transitions. Abby is a great dog and can be even more phenomenal with the right match for her!
