With Valentines Day upon us we have an official couples announcement! 🐴🫶🐴

One of largest boys Handsome and our smallest girl Sasha have decided over the last few months they would share the alpha status as king and queen of the herd- they are in love and ALWAYS together🤣❤️ We love to see a good horsey pairing 💘 and just in time for the day of love! (No there will never be babies! lol)

Today was grooming day for the horses! (And lots of special treats). We have a group of Wooly
Mammoths with lots of furry noses and kisses🤠🐴🫶 Many nose boops were given by all!

☀️We are LOVING this sun! It may be cold but the sunshine is making the work outside a bit easier☀️
🐴💤The horses are taking FULL advantage of the rays soaking it in, most are all stretched out taking naps and rotating who’s on “guard duty” while the others sleep!
We are preparing for a big storm with nasty weather and low temps the next few days but we are making the most of the sunny and longer days! We are getting closer and closer to hitting the trails!🤠

Happy Friday everyone! We hope everyone is staying warm as this cold just won’t stop! The good news is all the horses are super cozy and warm🐴🫶 enjoying the sun during the days!
As the days are getting longer we are getting closer to opening up our rides🤩 we cannot wait to hit the trails with you all.

Did you know some horses like to do puzzles?! Maybe not a ‘traditional’ tabletop one but some horses love a good challenge…for example opening doors and unlocking locks🤣 they always keep us on our toes that’s for sure🤠🫶🐴

If you have met our horses we have an adorable, and very big gal, Sissy! She can be described as the daintiest draft horse you’ll ever meet😜🫶🐴 You know everyone is full and comfortable when Sissy is taking a snooze 💤 in the sunshine ☀️. We LOVE our HAPPY horses 🐎 🤠

Handsome gives a big Horsey Hello! 👋 His name is Handsome for a reason😍🐴 He is our alpha horse so you can see him standing guard while some of the other horses relax in the back-natural instincts are always there😏
Some of our horses LOVE this colder weather! Handsome is one of them, he always grows in an amazing THICK coat of hair that serves him well! Most horses can regulate their own temperatures by ‘fluffing’ their coat! There are cases where we do use blankets for certain horses but they have their own way to keep warm built right in! Just think, wild horses don’t get blankets 😜

We LOVE to have happy and VERY FULL horses during winter🤠 each one of our horses has their own specialized meal plan to meet their specific needs!
We have a great relationship with our horses, it makes our property rotation of their paddocks much easier! Cowboy Pete directs this group to their next rotation! ❤️🐴❤️
