While can be a fun way for humans to celebrate, the loud noises, flashing lights, and strong smells can cause anxiety for many . Be sure that your pet is in a safe environment, and has an ID tag/microchip in case they manage to slip out of your yard or home.

After being closed for the weekend we are back open for businesss Monday the 15th! And we even have power, heat and internet! We know not everyone is so lucky. But Boones Ferry is largely clear of ice and snow and we’ll be here all day for whatever you and your pets need to get through the rest of this winter weather!

Hello dog friends! We need your help with our senior friend, Moose. Some you of may have seen him pop up on social media channels from time-to-time. He’s had a rough go of it but we’re not willing to give up just yet.

Moose formerly lived on a chain 24/7 with only a plastic dog house to his name. You can see in the photo marks here that walking back and fourth was the only way to keep himself occupied during those days.

Though his current foster has done a great job with him - he is now in a position where he needs a new foster home (or adopter!) that is around more often.

Moose isn’t getting any younger or more adoptable, and all we want for this boy is to stop having to bounce around.

He’d like a home with a yard and no other animals, plus someone who gets he’a big guy and just kinda let him “chill” and enjoy the life of an inside dog. Moose does have some dog friends, but can be selective and appreciates a slow intro.

Moose will repay you with the biggest smile you have ever seen -plus all of the cuddles/nuzzles you could ever wish for. He had much more life and love to give. We need a spot that will stick - and someone who is willing to be a safe haven for this dude. His adoption fee is sponsored, and he comes with free positive reinforcement training from fences for Fido’s certified behaviorist.
