Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our se

rvices and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventative care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house digital x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor play areas. We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and we are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

☀️🐾 Hot pavement alert! As temperatures rise, so does the risk of paw burns. Protect your pet’s toes by testing the pavement with your hand—if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them! Opt for walks during cooler hours and stick to grassy areas when possible. Let's keep those paws cool and happy this summer!

1. Pet-proof your home: Secure loose wires, keep candles out of reach, remove stove k***s.
2. Create a pet emergency kit: Include food, water, medications, and vet records.
3. Practice fire drills: Familiarize your pets with escape routes and meeting spots.

Dear friends,

As of 6/24, Dr. Schram and the Lake Grove Veterinary Clinic team will be transitioning to Tigard Animal Hospital, located just a few miles away. We’re excited about this opportunity to grow our team and expand our offerings while partnering with a like-minded team of veterinary professionals. Services will no longer be offered at our Lake Grove Vet Clinic location after 6/21.

We are honored and grateful to have been entrusted with your pet’s care and hope to continue serving you at our new home in Tigard or at one of the recommended nearby locations.

With summer festivities kicking off, we want to remind you about the symptoms of heatstroke and prevention tips:

-Never leave your pet unattended in a car
-When hot/humid, keep your pet’s time outdoors limited
-Keep your pet hydrated
-Ensure your pet has ventilation and a cool environment
-Dogs with short noses are at higher risk due to their condensed facial anatomy and restricted ability to cool themselves
-If any signs of heat stroke appear, contact our team immediately.
