ABOUT THE WONDERDOG TRAINERS: Our trainers are school certified with a combined 40 years of dog training knowledge & understanding. Our trainers are certified service dog instructors & bring the seriousness of service dog training to every aspect of dog training.
Alice became a service dog recipient when she had a car accident rendering her disabled in 2005. As she began the long road of rehab & recovery, she learned what having a service dog (Massey), by your side brings to life for someone that has nothing else to look for (or so it seemed at the time). The pain was unbearable on days.. but Massey gave her the strength to go on. Massey was by Alice’s side for 12 long wonderful years & she is the reason that Alice is so dedicated to this program.
In 2010 Alice went to Tom Rose School for dog trainers. She graduated the Associates program & continued on under the guidance of retired narcotics k9 trainer, Darren Richardson & the program C.A.R.E.
Alice’s first finished service dog went to a quadriplegic as a mobility dog. She is still working with that handler today. Alice has gone on to train & place many dogs with autistic children & families, Mobility dogs, PTSD dogs & other types of service dogs.
Upon graduating from Tom Rose, Alice began rescuing German Shepherds to try to train them & use them for service dogs. After 17 dogs that failed on either their hip xrays, or temperaments.. Alice began breeding her own working line german shepherds for pups to use in service dog work. She takes the prospective puppies & imprints them with basic obedience & mobility task work, preparing them for their futures as working service dogs. Alice now offers training to the masses with her vast understanding of service dog training, to expand your communication with your dog & further your obedience with your dog .
Alice began Wonderment Service Dog Placement Program 501(c)3 in 2015 to provide service dogs for the disabled & Wonderdog Training in 2017 to provide training for those that want to teach their dogs better obedience.

WE OFFER TRAINING, BOARDING & AWARD WINNING GROOMING ............WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR WHEN CHOOSING A DOG TRAINING PROGRAM ....TRAINING IS AN INVESTMENT...of your time & your money...we WANT you to investigate us, look at our track record with training dogs.....When looking for a trainer for your dog, whether it be for service dog training, rally, therapy dog... or just basic obedience, ..look at the certifications the trainer carries.... are they credentials that can be bought , or were they earned by the trainer with years of dedicated training?? Has the trainer titled any dogs? Does the trainer have any dogs that are working in a team for over 2 years? Is the trainer associated with AKC (this can be verified at AKC.org) or any training organization that requires testing of the trainer (not just a yearly fee for membership). Look at the way the organization continues it's education of it's trainers, do they continue to up-date their training as new techniques, tools & knowledge become available to the industry? Good luck on your quest for a well trained dog... I hope we can help!
