One more week of the Olympics! Which events have you been loving? Any favorite moments?🏅
Tiger's first vet visit with Aliyah weighing 2.7 pounds in early July vs. last week at his second visit with Samantha weighing 3.2 pounds. We're big fans of this one and his little grin!
A playful patient and Dr. Bishop! Did you know that Dalmatians are born with pure white coats? Their first spots usually appear within 10 days of birth and most of their spots will be present by four weeks, but they can continue to develop until they are over a year old! 🖤
A few months ago, our sweet patient Major walked into our hospital not feeling like his usual self. An X-ray revealed that Major had a tumor growing from his spleen. His mom and dad made the decision to proceed with emergency surgery in order to save his life.
Dr. McCann and her team safely removed the tumor and Major was able to go home that very same day. A week later we were devastated to learn that what we removed was cancer called hemangiosarcoma.
To give Major the best chance at fighting this disease, he started chemotherapy with our friends at MU. We are SO happy to report that this good boy has completed his treatments and remains CANCER FREE! Major, we love you and your sweet family. We are honored to be a part of your journey 🐾💙
Talk about kickin’ cancer’s tail!

Our patient Harold can't quite figure out why the cicada is out of reach! While cicadas are a generally safe and crunchy snack in moderation, too many can cause stomach upset. How are your pets reacting to the season of the cicada? Are they obsessed or indifferent?
Who said nail trims for your pet (aka pet-icures!) have to be a stressful experience? We wanna show you how it can be easy and breezy. Give us a call and schedule a nail trim appointment!
Incoming… a video a client took of Manny looking sleepy and sooooo cute. Schedule your pet’s annual checkup and maybe you’ll get to see this sweet face, too 🥹
It’s #FunFactFriday… did you know there are evolutionary reasons to explain why cats prefer running water from the faucet over the water in their bowl? Cats descended from desert hunters and instincts tell them not to trust standing water! A running water source was always cleaner and safer. To make sure your feline friend stays hydrated, provide them with fresh water in their bowl daily, or even consider getting your cat their very own water fountain ⛲️
Throwback to Belle checking out her winnings from the Halloween costume contest. She was more into the tissue paper than the cat nip… Classic!
Some fancy footage of the clinic! We love being amongst all the hustle and bustle of Lake St. Louis 💙
Thank you to the Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce for such a warm welcome to the family and to Lake St. Louis! We’re so proud to be a part of this wonderful community and another thank you to everyone who joined us for the ribbon cutting ceremony and our one year celebration.
