March is Poison Prevention Awareness Month! As much as we love to share snacks with our pets, some foods can be dangerous or fatal. Itā€™s always good to do your research, as harmful ingredients can be hiding in plain sight. For example, some sugar-free peanut butters contain xylitol!
If you suspect your pet has eaten something toxic, call us or contact the Animal Poison Control Center or the Pet Poison Helpline. Keeping foods, medications, and chemicals out of pawsā€™ reach can save lives. Letā€™s work together to keep our pets safe!
