We have a comfort room. This room is used for families to say good bye to their pets in a less stressful way and to provide room for a family. We also use this room for acupuncture appointments and consults.

Some of you asked about an update on Annabelle. Well, we fell in love with her and got permission to keep her as a clinic dog. She has had her eye removed, spayed, mammary tumors removed and a dental. Her tumors were cancerous and biopsy shows some lymph node activity. She is stage 1 mammary cancer. They gave her 3 yrs to live. She has been given the honory title of Assistant Hospital Manager and has her *desk* next to mine. :) Here's her latest tiktok.
Annabelle, our senior foster dog, is looking for a retirement home. She is house trained, good with cats, and other older respectful dogs. She will be getting her second set of surgeries in a week, to spay and remove mammary tumors.
Annabelle, the senior rescue dog
Behind the scenes at the clinic, our staff does some pretty amazing things. The Humane Society of Hobart, Inc. asked us to help with a senior stray dog that need immediate medical attention. Annabelle, came to us with a ruptured eye, mammary tumors, rotting teeth and filled with fleas and worms. Staff immediately jumped on her care, and Dr. Cooper removed the eye and did a dental. She still needs some more surgeries, but she is currently being fostered by the clinic.
