Our average in/out time is 1.5-2 hours per dog while maintaining a relaxed, personalized environment for each client. Leon Thompson was raised in a grooming shop and has been in the grooming business for most of his life. We don't believe in "bad" dogs here. Every dog is treated humanely and every measure is made to make sure that they are safe and comfortable. We are all dog lovers here, and we'll treat them as our own. We would love to have the opportunity to show you just how good we are!

Hello everyone, this is Mira Kutsikas. It has been a pleasure and a treasure to work with all of you and your beloved fuzzy friends. While we do not currently have a facility in which to groom, I will not be leaving the grooming industry. The business line will remain active so that all of you may leave your contact info via call, text, or Facebook messenger to be added to my call back list once my business partner and I have a facility again :) I will be available for mobile grooming for dogs 40 lbs and under. I will sincerely miss all of you in the mean time and hope the best for all of us.

Hello, My name is Jason Bragg and I'm Mira's business partner.

To our amazing community and Mira, I unfortunately need offer an apology.

I am responsible for precuring and maintaining a reliable place of business for The Groomer, and have failed in this responsibility. I'd initially obtained a working space within K9 Korral with agreements to service the kennel dogs as well as private customers. However, I didn't properly vet this arrangement, resulting in unexpected disruptions of business. The property owner has shut down our facility for an indefinite period of time.

I am working diligently to resolve this disruption, but nothing I can do will mitigate the harm this will have on Mira, her employees, and the community who've come to trust her with their beloved best friends. I am deeply grateful for Mira's dedication and humbly apologize for my inability to maintain a place for her and our staff to demonstrate their love of pets.

Our Story

The owner of The Groomer, has worked with dogs for over 10 years; specializing in canine development, behavior, and care under the guiding principles of low stress handling created by Dr. Sophia Yin. After discovering the importance grooming plays in staying proactive in the life long care of her beloved clients, our owner has set out to create low stress basic care facilities that prioritizes teaching dogs to love being cared for and maintained. When a dog’s coat and skin are well maintained it allows us the freedom to create a style that matches our client’s lifestyles and taste. To do this, we carefully craft every day’s schedule around the dogs to ensure their time with us is as stress free as possible as well as constantly upgrading our facilities with the best of the best equipment and products to keep our dogs’ coat and skin as healthy and clean as possible.

Potential health problems, allergies, and other concerns can often be detected or prevented during a thorough service from a groomer or a basic canine care technician. We at The Groomer create personalized hair and skin plans with an entire library of cruelty free, show quality, US made products.
