Happy ending!!!
This little guy was born healthy, but no matter how much he tried, he could not latch on to nurse.
His owners reached out to me to see if I could help.
When connecting to him, he immediately took me to his occipital region which was locked up.
According to him, this was causing further issue with his TMJ joint and he could not suckle.
Upon hearing this, his owner informed me he could nurse from a bottle without issue.
The suckle reflex was there, so why could he not latch onto his mom?!
Back to the drawing board I went and asked him.
Apparently the position he was having to place his head in to reach his moms t***s was part of the issue.
My suggestion was to get him a chiropractic adjustment, but unfortunately no practitioner could come out until the next day.
So instead, I instructed his mom to see if she could stretch his neck from side to side to release the tension.
And the rest is history.
Within moments of the tension being released he was able to latch on andnurse.
