Auditions are OPEN!

Our favorite red-headed orphan is coming to our elementary school’s stage this year- Annie! “Bet your bottom dollar” that this musical will be a blast for our Bulldogs! Auditions are open to 5th and 4th graders at this time. Please sign up no later than Sunday, August 18th by end of day. Don’t wait to sign your kiddo up- spots go fast! If there are still spots available Monday morning, 3rd graders will be invited. Important information and dates are included in the signup genius below!

Room Parent sign-up coming soon!

Welcome back to the new school year! As we always do when school begins, we’ll be seeking room parent volunteers for each classroom. Please read this information about room parent responsibilities, including one critical new change.

Beginning with the 2024/2025 school year, in addition to collecting classroom funds, planning the Halloween and Valentine’s Day parties, and assembling a classroom auction basket, room parents are being asked to meet as a grade with the teachers to help plan a field trip for the students in that grade. More details will be provided at the required room parent meeting after the sign-up process is complete, but the general idea is to develop field trip ideas with the teachers and then the room parents
will investigate the logistics, costs, etc. and report back to the teachers so they can request approval from the administration.

We will be seeking four room parent volunteers for each classroom. When the room parent sign-up genius is released on Thursday, August 22 at 7:00 p.m., please sign up for only one slot/classroom. Feel free to enter the grade level/teacher for your other student(s) in the comment box for your room sign up – we will use this information as needed to adjust classroom assignments for maximum coverage and participation.

And please remember that at least one room parent from each classroom must attend the required room parent meeting on September 9 at 6:00 p.m. (immediately prior to the first PTO meeting) as well as each monthly PTO meeting throughout the school year. Free childcare is provided in the school gym at most PTO meetings.

School Picture Retake Day is on October 20th!

The sale ends on October 17th with estimated delivery 2-3 weeks after. The PTO does get a percentage of the sales that helps fund field trips, feeding the staff during parent/teacher conferences, etc. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
