❤️JUGS IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME❤️

Jugs is officially ready to find his forever family! As much as we would love to keep every horse who comes through our barn doors here, our mission and goal is rescue and rehabilitate to find forever loving homes. The more we keep here the less we can help moving forward.

❤️Jugs- is a 16 hand, ~16 year old Quarter Horse Gelding. Jugs is a sweet big boy with a chill personality. In the past he has done drill team, carried a flag, done parades, and is a dream on the trails. He has also done some rodeo and playdays. He is happy to mosey down trail but can go from 1st to 4th gear quick! Don’t let his age fool you, he has endless energy and loves to run. He has all the fancy buttons and training. He is not a kids horse or beginners horse, but would be perfect for junior rodeo or adult’s trail horse.

Jugs came to us in January 2023, 200+ lbs underweight and is now in great health. He’s been seen regularly by the vet, is UTD on his vaccinations, has had his teeth floated, sheath cleaned, and sees the farrier every 8 weeks. Never been lame or foundered.

He got his name from his big head (draft size), and loves to roll any chance he gets. He does well with other horses, trailers/loads like an angel, stands for the farrier, stands tied (or untied) like a gentleman, and happily ponies younger horses. His only vice is being stubborn when on the property and having the barn in his sights, he wants to try and go “home”. He is easy on fencing, no medications or maintenance, and is an easy keeper all around!

It’s hard to find days to ride between work and rain but ._90 found an opportunity and took it! My sweetest boy ❤️ I can’t wait for dry weather and sun ☀️ and a few days off work to jump on 🐴

Holiday Ask 🙏🏼 Our poor cart has seen better days. Barn work is hard enough and our cart is not making it easier since it’s been through 3 years of rain, snow, mud, horses trying to jump over it, or into it 🤣

Anyone have extra hog fuel or gravel? Our goats HATE mud and the entrance to their pen is so muddy! 🙏🏼 They have dry straw to sleep on in a covered area but the mud everywhere else isn’t idea ❤️
