Another "Best Life" chapter.....
Daxson is off at school....and doing VERY nicely.

His owner is so incredibly thoughtful and generous to send updates....pics & video clips.

The "tricky bit" is always when that incredibly thoughtful owner notes/marvels at something the trainer has done with "your former baby" and you think and smile "DUH!"

When they are born, lessons start....the mare does her bit.....the breeder (in this case - ME) does her bit.... The "bits" are meant to add up as time goes by..... The "hope" is that bits are remembered.......

When all the bits fall into place (are remembered) that is when you sit back and think "Time Well Spent"

With the Arrival of October, the farm starts to slow down..... with only one foal this year, weaning time will be more of a "blending" into a bit of a different routine rather than a parting of the ways between mare & son... all else is just tackling pre-winter projects and planning what the farm will be in the coming years.

A few notes for clients - present & future.
In 2026 (and beyond,) ONLY Artificial Insemination with fresh semen -on the farm- will be offered with booking REQUIRED by 3/1/26. There may or may not be opportunities for our "Drive-Thru Breeding" option so PLEASE PLAN AND BOOK AHEAD.

Next year there will be youngsters offered .... new info, pics, video will be posted here as in all likelihood, the dot com will go away at the end of this month.
If anyone has interest in a youngster, please keep in touch!

Welcome September.....It's a wrap!

The 31st Year of Breeding/Foaling Season is on the books.....with gratitude to a kind and gentle Universe and loyal (plus new) clients.

As it stands now, it appears there will be new life here on the farm in 2026 so the circle continues.

***Important Note- Very happily I have been receiving inquiries from followers & potential buyers looking for ZFS offspring older than my current group of yearlings and 2025 boy. If anyone has a DeLite youngster they are looking to sell, please contact me and I will happily pass along suitable inquires. There is NEVER a charge/fee for helping to place "my" babies :)

Current available farm youngsters include the new boy Dante - a German Riding pony c**t by DeLite (of course) and out of Welsh mare Evans Grey Fox (aka Kit).

DeLite is by DeLuxe (DeNiro) - dam line includes Florestan/Florett As with Dino's dam a full sister to FEI World Cup winner Verdades.

Kit is by the Welsh B stallion Bridlewood The Celebrity (a fun perlino boy) and Kit's dam is by Smoke Tree Gold Fever (a lovely palomino boy.)

Dante is expected to mature large pony or oversized....probably not more than 15h. He will be registered Part-bred Welsh.

He is a lovely type with good substance and excellent movement.
