We had such a great time yesterday, we decided to open again today. Noon until 5:00.
We also want to thank everyone for making 2024 our best year ever!!!! It was such a blast!!! The family at Darrell's Aquarium is growing so fast it's hard to keep up. We're not done yet though. We have huge plans for 2025. More sale events, more tanks for livestock, more supplies and equipment, more improvements all over the shop....... 2025 is going to be an exciting year!!!!!!

We made it through the storm!!
The shop will be open today, but we will be short handed. Some of our staff are still dealing with storm damage at their homes. We're doing everything we can to get the shop open so that everyone can get water, food, and supplies for their pets. Please be patient with us as we continue to clean up and get things back in order after this storm.

Darrell's Aquarium will be closed today and tomorrow due to the storm. If all goes well, we'll open for normal business hours on Friday. Please take this storm seriously. I've been through many of these storms in my 50+ years as a Polk County resident. I typically don't get very concerned about them any more. This one is different!! A slight wobble north or south will make all the difference for our community. Please take shelter and look out for one another. Now's the time to check in with your neighbors and make sure they're okay. If we have to go through this, I couldn't be more thankful, or more proud, than to be going through it with the incredible people of this community. The true character of our people really shows in times like these. We will come together, we will help those in need, and we will rebuild. Just as we have done many times before. So be safe, and we'll see you Friday.

Getting ready for our 2nd annual 4th of July sale and cook out tomorrow/Saturday. I've never seen this many fish in our shop, and we have three more shipments arriving today! The place will be packed and nearly everything will be drastically discounted!!! You don't want to miss this!!!!

Who remembers our Independence day celebration and sale last year? We had a blast!! Well, I hope you're ready for our 2nd annual Independence day party/sale. The crew are all working hard to get everything ready for this coming Saturday. You don't want to miss this!!!!!

Our largest shipment ever!! Over 900 fish arrived today! The shipment wouldn't even fit on our normal delivery truck. They had to use one truck just for our shipment. We are PACKED!!!!!

We are LOADED with fish!! We also have a large shipment of freshwater fish arriving tomorrow/Thursday and another saltwater fish shipment arriving Friday. I'm not sure where we're going to put all these fish. :)

Y'all almost cleaned out the coral tank over the weekend. Time to restock. It is nice to see it finally coming together though! :)

If you're into African cichlids, you don't want to miss out on these beautiful fish. Y'all know how this works. If they don't find new homes soon, I get to keep them. :)
