“Is she pregnant,” was always the question of the day. No, our sweet boy has feline herpes and a sad backstory story. (He was found in an abandoned truck next to his dead litter mate when he was only weeks old 💔) But Vanessa didn’t see him as damaged, she saw him as another Polk County cat that needed a place to settle and be loved, unconditionally, for the rest of his life. Thank you for seeing past his disease and knowing he’s not to be discarded. We miss the spots you kept warm sweet loafer but know you are where you are supposed to be. 💜🩷🧡
When our babies come to us they’ve already experienced love from @savingpawsrescue. But while they are at KCL they meet our guests and they learn acceptance. At KCL they are socialized to get ready for their FURever homes. We love them like our own, but are Eeated when they leave here. ❤️🐈🐈⬛❤️

These two, and their mama Clarice, we’re rescued from a Race Trac parking lot while mama was VERY pregnant. A few days later four kittens were delivered caesarean.
