Great performances were accomplished by our team last week while attending the 2024 Paso Fino Grand National Championship Show held at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala.

On the first competition we had Darrel Shea on his horse, Israel. They placed reserve national champion in the class, Performance Schooling Colts 49 to 60 months.

On the second competition we had Kim Long with her horse, Malaquias in the ‘Driving’ class. Kim excelled in her driving class and won the title of grand national champion in that competition.

On the third competition we had Alex Zapata with Malaquias in the class, Bella Forma Geldings 49 months and older. His performance was impeccable, and he placed reserve national champion in that class.

On the fourth competition we had Jose’ Lozada on our horse, Tsunami, they completed an amazing performance that placed them grand national champion in the class, Performance Geldings for Gold.

On the fifth competition we had Jose’ Lozada on the horse Valentina in the class ‘Fabulous Fino Futurity’ where they won their competition.

We would like to acknowledge the outstanding job our team did at the 2024 PFHA Grand National Show.

He placed reserve champion in the class 'Performance Schooling Colts 49-60 months, which qualifies him for the Championship class held on Sunday at the 2024 PFHA Grand National Championship Show

A big shout out to Courtney Makris & Mark Wilson for bringing home the blue this past weekend from the Citrus Cup Horse Show. Both of their first-place winner performances were simply outstanding along with their big & beautiful horse Duncan a/k/a Cake for Dinner!

Spring Lane Ranch would like to acknowledge the awesome achievements of our team at the Grand National Championship Show last week at the WEC in Ocala. An amazing job was accomplished by one of our esteemed clients, Kim Long, who rode on Directora Del Oregano (Dee Dee). Kim and Dee Dee performed well and placed 2nd in the Country Pleasure Mares & Fillies class.

An impressive show was put on by one of our prestigious trainers, Alex Zapata, driving Malaquias de Spring. The judges gave a lot of praise to the performance of the trainer and horse. They placed 1st in their class and won the championship.

Alex along with Malaquias de Spring also performed in Bella Forma Geldings 49 months and older class, which they placed 2nd.

We also had two young horses that performed very well in the Futurity classes. We had trainer, Darrel Shea, riding on Israel de Spring for the Fabulous Performance Futurity class. And Alex Zapata rode on Luna Llena de Spring in the Fabulous Fino Futurity class. There was a lot of great feedback on the performances of these two horses. A heartfelt congratulations to everyone on the great job that was accomplished by our team.
