We LOVE all our Ark patients. Sometimes the universe creates a special bond between a patient and one of our staff.
Alexis and Goose shared a huge victory yesterday and the timing is perfect for Heart Month. Their story began when Alexis had the difficult job of informing Goose’s parents that he had tested heartworm positive. They immediately scheduled treatment. Alexis was there for all of his appointments and heartworm treatments. Six months after heartworm treatment, a heartworm test is done to make sure the patient is heartworm negative. Alexis got to deliver the great news to Goose and his parents that he is officially heartworm negative!!!!
Thank you Alexis and all of the Ark staff for all you do for our patients and clients.
