Upon retiring from my job with the State Of Florida, I enrolled in the Dan Rinehart Taxidermy school in Edgerton, Wisconsin. While there, I earned diplomas in Waterfowl and Upland Game bird, Full body Mammal, Deer Head and Fish. My instructor is a three time international champion with fish. I have invested thousands of dollars in my education to ensure that your specimin receives the quality attention it deserves!

Pet Fest 2023 this past weekend was incredible for the animals at Polk County Animal Control. We still have animals available at the shelter waiting for their forever homes.

For the rest of the year, Animal Control will offer FREE adoptions. If you are in the market for a new dog or cat, we encourage you to adopt instead of shop!

Remember, though, every animal adopted is a commitment for the life of that animal. Animals are not disposable and need to be adequately cared for.

Saturday, July 1, 2023. Polk County Animal Control -Florida will be hosting another FREE Adoption day! To view the adoptable animals, please visit our website at: https://www.polksheriff.org/animal-services/adoptable-cats

The adoption hours on July 1st will be from 10am-4pm.

Animal Control is located at 7115 Decastro Rd. Winter Haven.

If you are not able to adopt, then please help us reach more citizens that can adopt by sharing this post.
