Update!
We are back in business and warm at work!

We have a little situation….
We can’t get our new propane tank to light.
It lit once then poof…. Nothing.
Yes, there is propane in the tank. 🫤
If someone is able to take a look at this and get it lit I am happy to trade a day of daycare or your call. It’s our outdoor heater to keep the girls warm.

We had a super fun time passing out candy and dog biscuits at the Kelseyville Trick or Treat today. What a great turn out. The kids are always confused by the dog treats, it’s funny, but the dogs aren’t. 😂 lol

Rainbow ag and Chesteys pets will be providing treats as well. The trick or treat event is this Friday the 28th from 5 to 6 pm.
It’s a drive by event. Load up the kids. Load up your neighbors kids 😂 and drive through to get your dog a super fun doggie goodie bag. Treats for 2 legged kids as well! 🍭
We will also have a special
stage for the dog costume 👻contest and then keep your costumes clean for the costume contest at Rainbow ag on Saturday. Prizes awarded for Daycare and Community participants. 🏆

We will train the right person to work with groups of dogs at play. Must be able to work independently and supervise others.

Learn all about dogs, age specific behavior, breed specific behavior, health and handling, safety, and much more. Learn how to train a dog using positive reinforcement methods.
Learn how to observe dogs in a group
play setting as well as Dog body language and how they communicate. Learn to apply your skills in a work study program. Books and tools provided.
I would like to offer this position to an individual that may be entertaining the idea if a pet related career. I would also like yo have this intern commit to one or two years of work service. We
work outdoors in the elements. This job will provide you with dog training skills to be able to work in any dog handling position. This is a physically labor intense position. Kelseyville and Lakeport residents preferred at this time due to drive time factors. We invite you over for a working Interview followed by 3 days of physical on the job learning. After your internship, you will be trained to work with the dog parents in a customer service role. This position is part time. This is a dirty, and labor intense postion, working in unfavorable weather scenarios.

Look at this amazing line up. I’m going back to the roots of my business in which I had up to 10 dogs per day and they followed me around as I took care of outside business. They play with each other as well, but are always curious as to what I am doing. Taylor took the easy other 10 on the grass side

I would like to introduce this young man, he’s actually an oldie but goodie which are the nearest and dearest to my heart.

He has a history of going to doggie daycare in another community before they moved to Lake County and he had a housemate that passed away several months ago and his mom think he’s lonely.
I always ask people what is the reason for enrolling their dogs in Doggie daycare.

The most common reason for people to bring their dogs to doggy daycare is for an enrichment program.
These people believe their dogs benefit in some way from a social dog program. And they do!

Other reasons are:
To socialize young puppies and offer a safe, fun, early exposure and experience.

To maintain socialization.

Doggie daycare is also very good for a reduction in separation anxiety.

It’s also a good place for dogs to come if they bark at home and if they annoy the neighbors. Usually, If they come for a full day of play, they are often too tired too bark the next day 😂

If you don’t have time to exercise your dog.

If you don’t have time to train your dog.

If left alone they will eat your couch 😀

Dogs that have recently lost her companions and are
lonely often do well at doggy daycare. This can be another dog or a Hooman. 😢

When I first opened my business, I only wanted to have 10 dogs a day and people were nay sayers that it wouldn’t work. 😕🤷‍♀️
Before you knew it, I had 65 dogs a day.😀
