The CPF horses and riders kicked off the fall show season and had quite the show last week. So many amazing accomplishments and progress from this spring! Congratulations to these riders on all their hard working showing off in the show ring.

It was a crazy weekend and we had to snap a picture early before all the ribbons came in but as always, it was a great weekend with our barn family. Congratulations to all our horses and riders who stepped up to perform through all the chaos.

Sky finished 2nd overall for the THJA year end and 6th in the zone. Amazing start for this young horses first year of showing. Looking forward to seeing all that he can become.

We had another great week in Katy. Sky finished 9th in the hunter derby and picked up a 5th out of 22 in the 3’ green under saddle.

We had a fabulous last big show for CPF at GSEC. Congratulations to all our horses and riders and their success. We have had a super fun year and looking forward to some time at home for the holidays and gearing up for the new show season.

We had a fun week in tyler.
Congratulations to all our horses and riders on some excellent rides and ribbons.
The show was cut short today with big storms that rolled in and soaked everything, but the team was awesome and came together to help get everything organized and packed up in the rain for the trip home. Can’t say it enough, we have an awesome group that’s always there to support each other. I love showing with this team ❤️

We had a wonderful time in kentucky for the green hunter incentive championships. MTM Skyfall had some beautiful and consistent rounds to be proud of for a baby horse who just started showing 5 months ago. Lilly and her pony walked away reserve champions in the short stirrup division against a competitive field. Congratulations to both teams.

I feel like there should be some recognition for us moms that helped groom, and clean stalls, and wash breeches in the laundry mat at the RV park at 11:00 pm (though maybe that was just me). It was an amazing 2 weeks showing in our hometown at Will Rogers. We took a great team that came home with some wonderful ribbons and achieved some big accomplishments, from baby horses at their first shows to riders stepping up for their first time. Just a few to highlight and Congratulations to:
· Christin Won the Children’s Hunter Classic and Equitation, many high places on a new ride
· Dashing was Champion the Baby Green Division
· Baby Coleman and Holly brought home 2,2,5,5 and 6th in the long stirrup
· Brooklynn at her first big show brought home 4,5,5,6and 6th in the baby greens
· Skyfall finished 6th in the derby and 4th in the hunter stakes week 1 and 5th in the derby and 3rd in the hunter stakes week 2
· Lilly brought home some high places,1,2,2,4, in the short stirrup and took big steps forward with her showmanship
· Fay had a very smooth show after some rough ones with her baby horse bringing home ribbons in all her classes
· Lindsey competed in her first show ever along with her young tb’s first show and had some nice smooth rounds in the baby jumper classes
· Annie piloted our own Kassius around the jumper ring bringing back 4,4,4 and 6th
· Katie brought home some great ribbons in the adult hunters 2,2,3,3,4,5,5 and 6th
· Meagan got her first Blue ribbon with her young pony in his first year of showing
· Cambrie took her new 2yr old out and came home reserve champion for Best Young horse and then rode her Jumper for some great rounds in the children’s Jumpers.
· Erika didn’t lose her baby horse in the ring the second week :) and had an amazing week with her young jumper in the baby jumper classes. Big steps forward for this team.
· Grace had some beautiful rounds in the jumpers aboard her young horse who is just learning to show. Liz had a great show bringing back her jumper who was ecstatic to get back in the action.
· Abagael had an amazing show with her little TB competing against some big fancy warmbloods and brought home Reserve Champion in the Hunter Limit division.

And finally to Julie who spent countless hours schooling and piloting these horses around a bunch of schooling classes to get the horses tuned and ready for their owners. The part that isn’t always recognized but is key to allowing the amateur adults to succeed with their young horses who are still learning.

Then a HUGE thank you to Melissa and Lindsay who slaved over our setup and keeping our aisle looking stunning all week even though they where not showing themselves. THIS is what makes our CPF team. Those that show up no matter what and support us in everything we do.

The CPF team had an amazing week of showing. We had many babies just getting started and riders just moving up to the rated shows and what a success it was. Lots of ribbons and moments that showed all their hard work to move up. We try not to overly focus on the ribbons, though there where tons of them and few champion and reserves from some exceptional rounds. Showing is about the team and we have the absolute best team of riders, show moms and friends who make the 2hr drive just to help and support.
