The other day my daughter and I were talking about my clients and how I’ll miss them and my worries for them. I was saying “ This is nervous and oh yes that one too. So is x so is y “ etc.
she said “ Mom, you sure do groom a lot of nervous dogs.”
I’ve been thinking about that. I guess I do. You know I never advertise but my human clients find me for a reason. So very many of my pups (cats too) are just worriers. Together we just work through it- sometimes it takes years but every time I see a little more trust it’s a huge victory. I really really do love them. I really really will miss them. My troubled ones most of all.
I have referred most of them to Kelsey Borges because I know her through 4-H. I know she’s patient and kind. She works one on one at home like i do but she also works weekends.
She knows she can contact me with any question at all about any of them.
There are other great groomers in our area. We are a lucky community to have so many. You guys have my number. If I can help you in any way I will.
