🐶 URGENT: Our Kennels Are FULL! 🐶

Over the weekend, our Animal Control Officers responded to a hoarding case involving nearly two dozen dogs. While this is an active investigation and we can't share more details, we can tell you that our shelter is now at capacity—and our officers may have even more dogs arriving soon.

If you've been thinking about adopting, now is the time! To help these dogs find loving homes, all dog adoption fees are waived through February 15. You can see all of our adoptable dogs on our website.

✔️ Foster! We need temporary homes to help ease the strain on our shelter. Fill out an application online, and our foster coordinator will be in touch.

WHAT A DAY! Responded to so many emails I lost count. Phone...our phone equipment had a hardware failure, so I am waiting on new equipment. Hopefully I can get that soon!

The kennel is getting cleaned and put back together and is going to be better than ever! If you have called or emailed for reservations, I am getting to them as fast as possible. If you need something for this weekend we have availability! If you have emailed or called for other dates....I promise you will be in the books! I am going as fast as I can.

With the kennel being put back together, many safety changes are being made as well...as in there will be no more zip ties holding things together like they have for years. I will not bandaid anything that would jeopardize the safety of your pets that was done in the past. If I am doing it, it's going to be done, and done right. I've wanted to make some changes for the last 3 years and now is the time!

As of this Saturday, January 18th, we will be temporarily closed for renovations, lasting one week. When I took over the facility over three years ago, my main priority was to modernize it as much as possible. My aim is not to expand, but to achieve excellence. With our indoor facilities being renovated within the next week, this spring will also bring updates to our outdoor areas, including brand-new turf kennels. This new turf will ensure a safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable experience for your pets. Thanks for your understanding!
