Just wanted to let everyone know that I’ll be out of the office September 9-17.

If your pet needs medical care, here’s a few options: Emergency Veterinary Care Center in Mishawaka at 574-544-6200 or their clinic in Westville at 219-785-7300. If it’s during the weekdays, you could try Night Owls at 574-259-8387. For at home euthanasia option there is Paws at Peace at 574-804-2201.

Don’t you hate it when your brother takes your seat in the car? Bodhi was so exhausted after grooming, he jumped in the truck and immediately laid down. That’s typically Polly’s side. Polly did the only thing possible and decided to sit on him.

One of my dogs loves getting a bath. The other one is only there for the cheese.

Bodhi couldn’t wait for his turn so he jumped in the tub while Polly was getting a bath. Polly thinks the whole situation is dumb.

Do you ever have a day when you feel like you have too much hair? Bodhi goes every 6 weeks for a blow out. I am pretty sure we could have built a 20 # dog from all the hair that can out of him. It was like being in a black dog hair snow globe.

Just a friendly reminder that if your pet has anxiety related to thunderstorms or fireworks, there’s medication we can use to make them less scared. Let me know within the next 10 days if you need something. I will be out of town the week before July 4 so don’t wait until the last minute when I won’t be available to help. I don’t know when people will be celebrating the holiday. I am assuming on the 4th and both weekends before and after. Let’s be pro active about keeping our furry friends safe.

Bodhi and Polly both don’t like loud noises so they get some meds to make them happy. Bodhi’s not drugged up in this photo. In the last few weeks, he has decided that it’s more comfortable to lay on the side table (which he always does) with his head resting upside down on the couch.

With the number of messages and loose ends I am dealing with before leaving, probably best to call or text me if you need some medications. 574-315-0690. Thanks!

Dr Gruber will be out of the office June 15 to 30. Please let us know if you need any food or medications before she is gone. She will be out of the country and therefore not easily accessible. She is heading to England and Scotland.

So here’s the opposite situation. This kitty is missing in the Fox Run area. I know I have a ton of clients that live in this area. My client lost her while they were moving. She is microchipped. She is a nervous kitty.

One of my clients found this dog in the rain yesterday morning on Kern Road near Beech. My client checked with all of the houses around and no one recognized the dog. They haven’t seen any posts on Facebook and the dog is not microchipped. My client has placed found dog reports. They are willing to keep him if the original owner can’t be found but they would prefer for him to get back to his original family. They are going to share him on Facebook tonight. Let me know if you know this dog.
