I’ve been late in sharing the news from the last show we attended in Phoenixville (Oaks), PA a couple weeks ago (and I’ll make a post shortly about our other kitties that attended)… but when I received our updated photos of Boston today, I had to post them sooner!
Many of you will remember me showing Boston, alongside of Peach in the 2021-2022 show season, when he was able to obtain a kitten Regional Win that year (despite competition from some fabulous Ragdoll kittens- including our own). Boston has been patiently waiting here to meet the quarantine requirements to fly to Australia. With the lack of quarantine availability which caused an expired titre, his stay was extended here in the US! Boston was only shown once before as an adult when he became a TICA Champion, more than a year ago. Being that I think he’s a lovely boy, I wanted to finish his TICA Grand Champion title eventually before he flew home (which finally, for his patient owner Lina Trecki, will be happening next weekend). So, we took him out once more last weekend! In a smaller Ragdoll class, but very strong on quality, he was able to bring home 5 additional finals, and obtained the title of TICA Double Grand Champion!! Adding one more Grand+ to the bin of both of his parent’s hopeful “Outstanding” sire and dam titles (…. 🤞🏻 goals…).
I am so proud of Boston. Besides the hormones and smells around the show, in a loud and busy pet expo full of enthusiastic Ragdoll lovers, all while being benched next to two of my own girls in heat, and only ever being shown once previously as an adult… he took the show in stride and actually LOVED his time in the judging rings! 😄 He was a sweet, gentle giant… climbed the pole and played with many judge’s toys. This show brag is a bit late, but I need to share my congratulations to two of our homebred kittens!
WillowTreeRags Coco Noir & WillowTreeRags Bruce Wayne both made their show debut at the Northern Lights Cat Club Cat Show in Morgantown, PA 2 weeks ago.
Coco & Bruce are just 4 months old and both correct to the standard, sweet, big boys already!
In a class of 11 Ragdoll Kittens and 57 Allbreed Kittens, Coco Noir was the BEST Ragdoll Kitten in the show, bringing home 9 finals for the weekend and remarkably at just 4 months old was the 7th Best AB Cat in the entire show (a serious WOW moment considering it is tough for such a young kitten to do so well in a show with such a high Allbreed count).
Bruce Wayne was the 2nd Best Ragdoll Kitten in the show with 4 finals- 3 as Best of Breed Ragdoll Kitten and was consistently 2nd Best of Breed to Coco in the majority of the other rings! Between Coco & Bruce, they were the Best Ragdoll Kitten in 12 of 14 rings.
I want to thank Mia for showing Coco for his new owner Karen Jaquet. Coco will be Karen’s new king and will hopefully be shown in Denmark in the future.
I also want to thank Jordan Cruz & Rose Mary Cyr, her agent, for showing Bruce so beautifully and with such pride and trust in my opinion of Bruce. Much success to come with our little social butterfly!

First, congratulations to Crazy Pants Cat Club for putting on a fabulous first show at the Long Island Pet Expo in NY this past weekend. It was very well-run, enjoyable and friendly. From an exhibitor point of view, the show was stress-free and so much fun! It was wonderful seeing judges we don’t always see up in the Northeast region for some variety! The northeast region is so fortunate to have such awesome members. The shows here are always enjoyable, organized and done so well. Everyone I encountered had a smile and were having a good time. The show was busy and bustling with cat loving spectators. I was so proud of my kitties for taking it all in stride and enjoying their time interacting with spectators who were visiting the show and some experiencing the Ragdoll breed in person for the first time. It was lovely getting the chance to meet and speak to many Ragdoll lovers/owners that stopped by.

We took three of our kitties to the show this weekend. TICA SGC WillowTreeRags Mr. Bennett flew back to us from Washington state to attend a few shows with us out on the east coast before flying home later this month. It is so awesome having a chance to have him back for a short time and show him after seeing him off when he was just 3.5 months old. We also took out our lovely and mature nearly 4 year old Seal Point Mitted queen, TICA RW QGC. WillowTreeRags Jazzlyn, as well as TICA QGC WillowTreeRags Bernice, our beautiful 11 month old Seal Point Bicolor girl who did so well as a kitten- they have both been working on achieving their Supreme titles. Bernice came very close this weekend with a 2nd Best AB final- but not close enough! Lol. I am sure it’s around the corner.
Mr. Bennett ended the weekend with 8 finals, and 2 Best LH Cats! He was the best Ragdoll Cat in the show.

Gleaming with pride after WillowTreeRags Douglas Fir became a Supreme Grand Champion at only 10 months old at the Red River Rascals TICA show in Oklahoma this past weekend! Ironically, “Dougie” was Supremed by TICA Judge Amy Stadter, who just Supremed WillowTreeRags Mr. Bennett earlier this month! Doug took home 8 finals and was the 4th Best Allbreed cat & Best Ragdoll Cat in the show- with a solid cat count.
I always think it’s even nicer to be Supremed by a judge who has bred Ragdolls and served on the Breed Committee or as Breed Chair multiples times- as only a fellow breeder of your breed knows how hard it is to get so many of the same desirable and not always easiest traits to obtain in one cat. That’s why I am posting the video here where Doug achieved his Best Cat/Supreme title, so you can hear the wonderful things she said about him. I am not overly emotional with new Supremes of my own, but to hear the sweet words and for his owner, as a new breeder and exhibitor to hear them and get such positive feedback on her foundation boy that I bred made me a little teary! Thank you Amy for giving this to Doug and for seeing the same positive qualities we see in him!

I wanted to take the time to congratulate two of our homegrown boys on their success at the “It’s Reigning Cats” TICA show in Portland, OR this past weekend.
WillowTreeRags Mr. Bennett, Seal Point Bicolor, 8 months, owned by Elizabeth Boatright attended his first show as an adult and took it in stride, pleasing many- especially Elizabeth & I. Mr. Bennett received 10 finals, became a TICA Quadruple Grand Champion in his first show, and was the 4th Best AB cat in the show (out of about 40 Allbreed Cats). He even came home with a couple Best Cat finals (see video).
WillowTreeRags Douglas Fir, Blue Point Bicolor, 9 month old (littermate to WillowTreeRags Bernice), owned by Liz Ellison attended his 2nd TICA show as an adult, in a class of tough competition, including his half sibling Mr. Bennett, he brought home 9 finals, and was the 6th Best Allbreed Cat in the show! See video of him in the same final with Mr. Bennett.
Showing alongside of them were also two young adult female from our breeding, including WillowTreeRags Abigail Adams, who also received a Best of Breed this weekend against the two big boys and achieved her TICA Championship title as a result!

Jazzlyn came back out to show this weekend after having a litter this past August. She loves showing and couldn’t be bothered by the noise and other cats. At a mature age, she’s everything a Ragdoll should mature into and I love showing her! She was TICA Judge Adriana Kajon’s Best Ragdoll Cat and was able to bring home 4 finals this weekend. The TICA President also was awesome enough to not final one but two Ragdoll cats in her top 10 final- her best of breed, TICA QGC WillowTreeRags Bernice (3rd) as well as Jazzlyn (6th)! So exciting!

Another amazing show for WillowTreeRags Bernice this past weekend in Morgantown, PA, where she was the BEST KITTEN IN SHOW! 🥳
Bernice competed against a high of 41 AB Kittens and a class of 9 Ragdoll Kittens. She only missed one final. She received 2 BEST kitten finals & numerous high finals which helped her accumulate additional points for a hopeful IW & top Ragdoll Kitten spot. ❤️
She went into last weekend’s show as the best kitten in our region. Which was fun to see, although I know it won’t hold.
Bernice is an easy going cat to show, who is perfectly moderate in type all over, with a fabulous bunny coat, and expressive, large deep blue eyes. Multiple judges forget she is actually a girl… because she is so well built already for her age (like a boy, they all say…). Above all, she has the personality true to what makes our breed so special.
Thank you for the Black Eyed Susan Cat Club for a fabulous cat show, and all of the judges who found our sweet little Bernice worthy of praise! We hope to finish her show career with a BANG 💥 this weekend in our own region and hope we can achieve our goals we set after her first successful show when she was just 4 months old.

We had an incredible show in Pigeon Forge, TN this past weekend with WillowTreeRags Bernice! Going to TN with only 3 shows left as a kitten and in crunch time for some serious points/finals for our shot at a possible IW or Best RD Kitten we were able to accumulate a good chunk of points towards our goal. Bernice ended up being the Best Ragdoll Kitten in the show (in a Ragdoll kitten class of 10) and 4th Best Kitten in the entire show out of a total of 58 AB Kittens- the largest class in the show! Bernice brought home 11 finals, and 3 of them were BEST Kitten finals, 1 AB & 2 LH (a serious thank you to those judges, Christina Baumer, Robby Whyte & Toni Jones)! The kitten competition out there right now is really solid and to be brought back and place in the finals at all was an honor to me.
It was my first time visiting the Smoky Mountains. I never knew what I was missing… it is so beautiful this time of year. I had a brand new 2022 Charger to drive from Knoxville to Pigeon Forge and had a fun time cruising the backroads Friday and Sunday on my way back and forth exploring a little bit of the area… such a unique slice of America! I will make it a point to visit in the future. I stayed at a lovely hotel with a cute little fireplace and enjoyed its ambiance with a backdrop of the mountains through my window in the evenings (Bernice, too… oh, and I brought her back some catfish Saturday night as a dinner treat… lol… needless to say she enjoyed the local flavor, too).
Thank you to the Harmony Cat Club for putting on a friendly, smooth sailing, and nice little show! I had a wonderful time seeing and spending time with friends and meeting some new ones.
Unfortunately Bernice is a difficult cat to judge. She’s awake for the first ring or two and then the judging process quickly becomes a bore to her and she is difficult to impress with the same old toys! Thank you to the judges who gave a valiant effort in actually judging her and finding some toys that act

At just 8 months old, Torrey attended her 2nd adult cat show and obtained the title at TICA Triple Grand Champion against stiff Ragdoll competition (including our own Liwu, Alma, and Cannelle).
I had to repost this video of Torrey receiving a congress final because it's so hilarious and adorable. Presenting her with 6th Best Cat is TICA Judge Steven Meserve. Torrey is still a kitten at 8 months and very playful with the judge. We look forward to showing Torrey this Summer before breeding her later this year.
