UPDATE! Seamus is home! He was indeed caught on a tree not too far away and was happy to be rescued!
PSA: Yet another reason NOT to use retractable leashes!

This 2 year old, 52 lb. doodle ripped his retractable leash from his owner’s hand at 11:30 PM last night and ran after some small animal near his house on Millerton Road, in Lakeville. Since he was dragging his leash with a big handle he may be stuck in a thicket or bushes. He has a collar with his name and address, rabies tag and Salisbury dog license. Please call his owner at 860-435-9703 if you see him (or Animal Control at 860-488-6476).

Salisbury Community Dog Park It was just confirmed today Bonnie is home! Drone searches were done and she had gone into “ survival mode “ running even from her owner. But yes she’s home now resting . Thank you for posting and reaching out 💜
