Finley 🖤

Finley is available currently for any school (will be placed with schools SRO), 911 dispatch, or Fire Department as a therapy dog.

She does have a few more months with me for training, once she turns a year in December she’ll then be ready for her new handler.

Her new handler will then go through 6 weeks of training with me, AKC CGC testing and be registered with her new handler through Alliance of Therapy Dog before she will be released to go full time.

She’s the best little cuddler and I know she will make a huge difference in everyone’s lives 🥰

Someone sent me this a good while back and I’ve shared it several times … I think Kelsey (the original poster) is on here herself …. What she says here is something I’ve tried my damndest to get across to the public. We’re gonna focus on “dog trainers cannot fix genetics” …. Because that’s what and who they are…, as it pertains to your dog’s given genetics. Slow to develop, not prey driven enough, hates water like his ancestors, etc…. There’s only so much a person can do to cover up and bring to life in an animal with average genetics Athletes train for years to make it to the next level…. High school to college, college to the pros, pros to all stars or even hall of fame …. It’s not possible to take an average talent level hunting dog from a pup or juvenile and make him a “trained dog” in 3-4 months In the case of versatile hunting dogs, you’ve got pointing birds, any possible fur work, engage tracking with various exercises, water work, retrieving on land and water of fur and feather …. And on and on and on and to what degree polish do you want or expect…..? Them gifted athletes are working day in and day out for decades to get to where they need to be What happens when there’s set backs or struggles …. Guess what …. That eats up “Time” …. And in this business it’s a race against time Those given genetics are gonna shine “good or bad” ….. high prey drive or low prey drive, extreme love of water or no love of water, extreme desire to retrieve or minimal desire to retrieve, full speed ahead attitude or meek and mild All of this stuff matters

This sweet boy is in need of a new home 🖤

Happy Saturday from Wilson! Wilson, unfortunately needs a new home. He recently moved to the states from Hawaii. In Hawaii he was used to having a big yard and room to run, but now has found out he does not like his new apartment. With the housing market, his owners haven’t found anything and hate that they have to rehome him because his mom is in the medical field and works 12 hour shifts.

-About Wilson… he’s a very sweet dog! He has good recall and does great with other dogs. Wilson is 8 and is in great health and all up to date on shots. He’s not food or dog aggressive in any way and doesn’t even bother when Gus walks by his kennel. He doesn’t like thunderstorms but has meds that he takes easily when they might be in the future.
(CORRECTIION) Mr Wilson is 8.

Cash is a puller and very strong, he also would put the breaks on and not move sometimes during his walks if walked on a collar. So we got right to work on fixing that!

We have a couple weekends in September that we will be gone for hockey tournaments which made scheduling a little difficult for that month.

So I’m offering in between the weekends a 🚨 Special🚨 on Play & Train Days.
