Non profit, 501c3 public charity animal rescue & adoption center operating a mostly cage free shelter in Lakewood, CO. Since 2003, we've saved the lives of and found safe, caring homes for over 11,000 animals (mostly cats & kittens at the shelter, but many dogs through fosters). This week we’re featuring special friends that are FeLV+. Misty is such a sweet and super soft girl. She soaks up affection and will be the first to greet you when you walk in the door. She also loves to play! This 2-year-old would likely do well in most homes (any other cats would also need to be FeLV+). Sonic came from a hoarding situation and is still getting used to humans. He would do best in a calm home with someone who will give him lots of time and space to adjust. Seki would love to find a chair to call her own in a forever home. This petite and pretty girl is 1 1/2 years old and would probably do best as the only cat. Soleil has been on the lookout for a forever home for over a year! This cute misfit is a special needs guy that is both fun and feisty. He’s approximately 6 years old and requires daily glucose monitoring for his diabetes. BUT we’ve discovered that his condition can be mostly be managed with a wet food diet. We think he would likely do ok with other animals (he came from a multi-pet household) or as an only cat. Think your home might be a good fit?
