Non profit, 501c3 public charity animal rescue & adoption center operating a mostly cage free shelter in Lakewood, CO. Since 2003, we've saved the lives of and found safe, caring homes for over 11,000 animals (mostly cats & kittens at the shelter, but many dogs through fosters). Amazing fact due to our very limited resources, our small building (converted fast food restaurant), no government, corporate, or other group funding, and only a few committed volunteers.

Hello there! Meet Teddy. This inquisitive tabby is soft and shy and will most likely be hiding out when you first walk into his room. Although he’s still adjusting to humans, he enjoys his kitty roommates (we strongly recommend adopting him with another kitten) and is also a big fan of string toys. My goodness. How adorable are these two? Bremus and Midnight are both 10 months old and full of energy. They love to play and are very affectionate. Although they both have some degree of vision impairment, they don’t require special care and it certainly doesn’t affect their ability to get around. Soleil has been on the lookout for a forever home for over a year! This cute misfit is a special needs guy that is both fun and feisty. He’s approximately 6 years old and requires daily glucose monitoring for his diabetes. BUT we’ve discovered that his condition can be mostly be managed with a wet food diet. We think he would likely do ok with other animals (he came from a multi-pet household) or as an only cat. Think your home might be a good fit?
