Non profit, 501c3 public charity animal rescue & adoption center operating a mostly cage free shelter in Lakewood, CO. Since 2003, we've saved the lives of and found safe, caring homes for over 11,000 animals (mostly cats & kittens at the shelter, but many dogs through fosters). Amazing fact due to our very limited resources, our small building (converted fast food restaurant), no government, corporate, or other group funding, and only a few committed volunteers.

He would do best in an active household with people or other animals that can provide him with lots of engagement. Rufus is FeLV+, so any other cats in the home would also need to be positive. Although she’s still timid, she’s slowly coming out of her shell and we think her sweet personality will really start to emerge in a forever home. How cute is this face? Yesterday we featured a Bengal/Maine C**n mix named Bria. Today we’re featuring her sister, Bambi. This sweet girl will also need a home with lots of space for enrichment and exercise. Bambi is shy, but really starting to enjoy some chin and back scratches. She’s approximately a year old and would do best with a cat-savvy adopter who will read her cues and give her time to adjust. Want to find out more about this pretty lady or the Bengal breed?
