This month, we are offering half off all Barks & Rec Evaluations. Evaluations must be scheduled within 6 months of purchase date. Evaluations are scheduled on weekday afternoons, and last between 30-40 minutes.

In Barks & Rec., dogs embark on a journey of self-discovery through engaging play, positive group interactions, and skill-building exercises. Our half-day program equips dogs with essential life skills while fostering a strong sense of comfort and confidence in various social situations.

This month we are highlighting Cinder!

Cinder is a 1.5 yr old Shephard who started with us in Wiggle Waggers in October of 2023! Since then, she has done Release The Beast, Paws & Poise, in-home sessions, and currently attends Barks & Rec twice a week. Cinder is blossoming into a fabulous young lady, building her confidence and overcoming training challenges daily. Cinder is a staff favorite, sharing her fun and playful nature with all of her doggy friends.

We are so proud of all of her accomplishments, and we look forward to watching her grow. Congratulations Miss Cinder; you are wonderful!

We are so thrilled to introduce our newest Junior Trainer, Jake!

Jake has been an animal lover since he was a boy, absorbing animal facts from Ranger Rick magazine, devouring every episode of Wild Kingdom on Sunday nights and romping with the family St. Bernard, Maggie. Visiting zoos across the country and petting koalas and wombats in Australia were among his favorite family trip experiences growing up.

As an adult, he taught his first terrier, Merlot, to become a frisbee playing maniac and he knew he was hooked on dog training. A former human personal trainer, Jake eventually realized that his love for dogs along with years of coaching experience made dog training a great fit. He’s been studying and practicing training through CATCH Training Academy since 2022 and will finish his certification this January.

As a Junior trainer at Good Dog, DYNO, Jake has been drinking in all the knowledge and expertise of the team and getting tons of hands-on experience with the animals. He is thrilled at the chance to work and build relationships with the best dogs in Denver!

Jake will be teaching Barks & Rec twice a week in the New Year, and starting group classes soon. Welcome to the team, Jake!

This month, we are highlighting Hazel! Hazel is a 10 month old Bernadoodle who just finished a 4 week Board & Train with us! Hazel made so much progress in her Board & Train and was so amazing, we had her jump right into our Barks & Rec program, where she is an awesome play ambassador for other dogs, and is really showing off those obedience skills! Her progress has been astronomical, and her transformation from a slightly shy girl into a play rockstar has been incredible! We look forward to watching her shine in Barks & Rec and other programs.
