Shortly after Buddy passed away, we were gifted with "Coal". This is him.
Coal helped make our home a little less lonely with Buddy gone.
Now he's a great friend and we love him.

I am in Alaska! The plane ride was great with a window seat and everyone doted on me. I just got back from a trip up the Salcha river on an airboat and ate lots of pan fried grayling. Yum.
I also kept the bears away for mom of course.
We're going home tomorrow, bitter sweet.
