When you start reading, your parents are excited about your first sentence. Over time, their expectations for your reading abilities increase, and with their encouragement, you become a stronger reader. Similarly, training our pups follows a similar pattern. In the beginning, it involves lots of treats, praise, and luring them into position. Gradually, as each session concludes successfully, fewer treats are needed. Nevertheless, offering a tasty treat or extra praise remains a great reward for your pup. This process of fading treats and providing extra encouragement builds their confidence and fosters a happier relationship between pup and owner.
