Since November 2024, the FDA has updated safety labels on several commonly prescribed animal drugs based on post-approval data. These changes include new warnings and precautions for medications used in dogs and cats.

Some key updates:
⚠️ Synotic – Reports of hearing loss & vestibular dysfunction in some dogs
⚠️ Bravecto 1-Month – Birth defects & pregnancy risks in breeding females
⚠️ Galliprant – New toxicity warnings & additional adverse effects
⚠️ Credelio Cat – Behavioral changes, vomiting, and other side effects
⚠️ Stelfonta – Increased risk of severe wounds, limb amputation & death

These label updates may take a year or more to appear on packaging—stay ahead by checking the latest safety info directly from the FDA.
