Hey everyone. I’m doing a purge today on a lot of horse training books that I’ve got doubled up & a whole load of magazines. Would like $10 per training book( there’s 3) & all the magazines are free for the taking. They all have a lot of good useful information on raising horses. Pm me if interested. YOU MUST PICK UP. Does anyone recognize this cat? She was found NW of Lakota & brought to the rescue just now. She’s tiger striped with a lot of orange in her coat & she’s also a larger sized cat. She’s very friendly & talkative. If you know who she belongs to please have them contact us as you can tell she was somebody’s pet as she’s very friendly…please call the rescue if ya know who she belongs to. (701)270-7587.

Is there anyone on here who could offer Buddy a good loving forever home & some ponies?? Buddy would be free & have lowered the price on the ponies to only $300 just to get them good homes before my surgery. If I can’t find homes & downsize, I can’t have my surgery & I desperately need my surgery. I have contacted other rescues but they’re all full…anyone???

Folks we are not set up to take dogs & cats. We have gotten numerous calls the last two wks. Almost everyone I know of is also full already. You can try contact TMAR for dogs but for cats I don’t know of anybody having any more room.
As for horses & ponies; Yes I closed in Jan 2024. BUT; if you are in a dire situation desperate to place them I am not going to turn anyone away as from what I know I am the only one with room. I CAN NOT take ones needing major cares like meds & a bunch of supplements unless you can find someone to donate to the cause. I still have all of my paperwork utd as a non-profit in ND & my state paperwork. Those will be kept utd unless things drastically change on my end.
ALSO: we have plenty of hay this yr. So if anyone is needing a couple lg rounds just to get by so you can keep your horses/ponies Jlmk & I will gladly give them to you free of charge if it means keeping your animals. You must have a means of coming to get them tho as I don’t have a way to deliver bales. We would much rather see them able to stay with you than to have to get rid of them. If your desperate & need hay please call me at (701)270-7587. Limit is only 2 lg rounds/1x per yr..
If you have chickens needing to be rehomed, I have room for them as well. No Roosters!! I also have a bunch of panels we could set up for sheep or goats but I don’t know much about raising them. I do have people I could call to find out tho.
I am also still seeking volunteers as I have a major back surgery coming up. If interested in working with the horses & ponies & cleaning the barns etc please lmk.

Hi everyone. I am looking for another rescue or forever home to send Buddy to. It has to be someone who can come get him & afford his pain shot every 6 mths, as I just don’t have a trailer big enough & have done messed up my back good this time... Does anyone have any ideas? I go to search & my own rescue is the only one that comes up. I have a lot of back surgery things coming up so would like to get him placed asap. Please pm us or comment below. Background checks will be done on personal basis if offering to take him.
He’s 17 hh, around 1200 # & he is a PASTURE PET ONLY. HE CAN NOT BE RIDDEN. I have all of his x-rays on his knee & it was too far gone for surgery as past owners waited too long, so he is on a pain med injection every 6 mths which seems to be working well for him.

Seriously ya’ll, when is the slander & harassment going to stop?? All your doing is wasting the State Vets time, ours & the time of the local sheriff. They know what’s up w/ the complaints by the ones doing it. I have talked to the state vet many times as I’m the first one he calls as we have a good working relationship. Same with the law. Ya’ll need to put this hate crap to bed already.
This time it was on Dot. She’s 20 some yrs old, she has hardly any teeth for Pete’s sake & all are under the cares of our vet. And yes all vet records were provided. Ya’ll seriously need to find something better to do then constantly harassing me. Good grief!!
Our aim as a rescue is to find good permanent homes for these horses, that’s our job once they’re habilitated.

Fall & cooler weather are upon us so have been trying to get some stuff done before we see the white stuff. It’s not easy with your back completely out. I have to finish winterizing the chic coop, get a new XL tarp hung for the doorway in the barn as getting a garage door put in this yr didn’t happen as planned.
I have been spending time w/ ‘Lil bit( new miniature we got in)getting her used to human contact. We haven’t gotten to but a few pets on the nose & face which is still progress. She loves the lil bit of feed she gets to bring her close to where I stand while she eats to get used to my presence. I don’t want to inundate her with a lot at once. Ones like her take lots of patience. Once they’re all in the pony barn I will be able to spend more time one on one with them in their stalls. I have to finish getting all the sand laid out in there but can’t handle the movements of the tractor with my back jacked up atm.
Everyone’s been getting alfalfa/ hay mix to add more weight for winter & the cold that’s coming. I also added a ration balancer to their feeds this wk for 3 of them who keep getting pushed off the bales by the others. Those 3 go into the barn overnight to get all the extra freed & alfalfa they need on top of their hay. But we’re set for winter with over 200 bales we made & 40 donated alfalfa bales from our neighbor. God is good.

Today we received this beautiful little girl at the rescue. She’s so small & cute I just wanna bring her in the house!! I’ll have to sneak her in during the day😂😂😂. I’m gonna name her Bella. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one so small. The crate she’s by is only a foot & a half so gives ya an example of her size.
And yes I closed the doors of the Rescue, but I am not going to turn away anyone in need of finding a home for their babys either… that will never happen. I can’t wait to get to know her & play with her.

I’m looking for a riding buddy to help me get more rides on the horses & to help me exercise them at least 2-3 times a wk... I won’t ride out alone as it’s just too risky. Must be an experienced rider & within an hr away. No beginners as some of them have quirks we need to work out( mainly being barn/buddy sour). They all have good ground manners, no buck rear or biting from any of them. Must be willing to sign a liability form.

Got the main barn finished today & finally got all the sand spread out in the front. No more dealing with the mud in the front(hallelujah), or with mud in the stalls as they all got 5” of sand in them. So much easier to clean…now to get the sod removed from the roundpen & get the sand laid in there. Thank you Jesus for helping us find a sand pit. If anyone knows where I can find some used railroad ties for the edging base of my roundpen I would greatly appreciate it. Now to run get the used garage door for the main opening.

I just wanted to update everyone on the sale I was going to have. At this time things have been postponed due to my own health issues & the passing of my Dad 2 days ago. Once things settle down I will try & get a date planned out for the near future. I still have a few barn cats (6)to give away if anyone is interested. 3 are kittens & the rest adult hunters. Some are very friendly.

I have all this tack & so much stuff from the rescue I want to sell. Would it be better if I just had a big sale in the yard here on the 27th of July as there is just so much stuff to go thru let alone try to get pictures of it all. What do y’all think & who would all be interested in coming? We have winter blankets, halters up the w***o, all kinds of different bits & misc tack stuff, lots of grooming stuff, water tanks & heaters, a brand new bale spear quick attach, panels up the w***o….please comment below…I need to make this as easy as possible for myself as I don’t have help.

We have these horses & ponies available & up for your consideration. All of the ponies are halter broke & lead only, not fully broke to ride yet. All but one is great with kids, the brown paint is very standoffish & hard to catch(hence why I can’t get her feet done & believe me I have tried & tried!)
For lg (15hh+) we have Halo, Cutty & Dot up for your consideration. All are broke to ride & kid safe!! All are UTD on everything from shots & deworming to teeth floats, vet checks as of Feb 2024. Coggins & added health checks will be responsibility of the buyer. All have been trail ridden & are sound with no issues. Pm us if interested. NO TIRE KICKERS! Serious buyers only. Hi everyone. (Please read entire post)
I am selling all our rescue supplies for dogs, cats, rabbits & guinea pigs. EVERYTHING NEEDS TO GO!! We have raised dog beds, the heating pads for winter, extra lg metal foldable kennels, medium & small plastic kennels, all kinds of cat beds, lots of blankets(all new) & towels,lots of feed & water containers, guinea pig fencing, a lg plastic round kennel for containment so rabbits or pigs can roam around, there’s too much to mention. Willing to sell it all for a fair price, or as a lot for one price. I bought everything new.
FOR HORSES, I have a brand new blackEnglish saddle(16”), 2 barely used Western saddles(15”), lots of halters & lead ropes, headstalls, breast collars, 2 kids saddles with the tappendero’s, breast-collar & headstall, new saddle pads, lots of grooming brushes,mane & tail combs/brushes, all kinds of stuff for ponies, lots of different bits & tack supplies(clips & misc jars of stuff), water tanks(100 gal), etc. I’m only keeping what we need for the couple horses we’re going to keep & the rest needs to go. Selling for fair market value. If interested msg me & make an appt to come see what we have as there’s just too many pictures to take of all of it. Also have round pen panels, an extra large carport 20’x15’ for shade & protection.

This morning I said my good-byes to Magic as her new family came to get her. I know in my heart I have placed her with the best possible group of women I know🥰. She will be loved as I loved her & that was most important to me. She will still be able to be around children helping them in their recoveries so that too makes me happy for her future.

It’s a good day today. Buddy is on his way to see his special vet about his knee & hock surgeries…. We ask for prayers for him so that they can find options to remove all his bone spurs. He’s a special boy to us all, esp his new owner Kristi, so please send up prayers for her as well…here’s to getting good news back later today.

Lady had her baby yesterday morning. He’s a big boy… I named him Spirit(for many reasons). He will be the last baby born here😔… so I’m going to enjoy him to the fullest. For some reason Lady is being really protective with this one compared to when Genesis was born. He was born on Jaycees first birthday.
