Lots of company getting breakfast this morning!
(Also, yes I do accidentally call Maisey Charlotte in the video. Whoops)
Greeting the puppies after being away 💜
Here are the girls! 💜 (the boys are spoken for)
They will be ready to go to their forever homes as soon as Friday when they turn 8 weeks. We hope to place them with their families between 8-10 weeks and by 12 weeks at the latest.
Message if you’re interested in seeing if one of them might be a happy, healthy companion for you and/or your family!
It’s time to eat! I find it hilarious to watch them all pile out of the pen and run to the food. Everyone is doing really well. Fun times 🐶🐾😍
Took this a couple days ago. The puppies are all up and walking around now. 😍 Time for the next phase! 🐶🐾
Let’s visit some puppies!
We have a food call we have done with the puppies ever since they started eating outside their pen.
After they are used to that call we add the command word ‘come’ at the end to help them begin to learn to come when called. Eventually you can drop the first part of the call and simply use come and it can have the same effect.
New things to explore!
Every day we introduce them to something new!
A challenge of sorts or just something different to explore.
This exposure helps them become ‘enrichment seekers’ rather than scared or intimidated by new things and timid. Research shows that if you expose puppies to as many things as you can, in a non overwhelming manner, during their first twelve weeks of life they will be more confident and comfortable dogs for the rest of their lives! What a gift to a dog and their human(s) to help them be comfortable in their little bodies!
