Kahu’s resident dogs, Fergus, Attell, and Felix, enjoyed a pre-Christmas hike and proved themselves with the “log of doom.”
Check out our OG, Fergus, and the lady of the house, Attell, showing off the command “come” while enjoying time in the woods!
While we wait for our next Stay and Train client to arrive, our big baby Felix gets some training. He worked so hard during this session that he needed to nap for the rest of the day!
The “Down” command is an important part of a dog’s training. It helps relax dogs in a hectic situation, helps with impulse control, and keeps them in the same place for an extended period of time - a helpful thing in a wide variety of situations!!
Check out Artie and Charlie rocking this command!
Charlie is an anxious dog. The “place” command can be difficult for him, especially with so many distractions, as they can really increase his anxiety.
Consistent work is helping to build Charlie’s confidence, and the more confident he gets, the less anxiety he displays! Watch him do such a great job working on Place.
Artie is working hard to master great manners and obedience! Look at him in the “Place” command with tons of distractions!
This command is so helpful for door manners, manners with guests, and generally setting boundaries within the home.
