HEADS UP;... it's CORN ON THE COB season!!!!!!! Corn COBS KILL dogs.. put all corn COBS in a bag and put immediately into the OUTDOOR trash can.... DO NOT let your dogs chew on the cobs or eat the corn off the cob... just the corn is OK,,, but NO COBS !!! when the cob is swallowed , whether in pieces, or whole,,,,, it can cause a bowl obstruction... and $$$ for surgery to save your dog ... Do not risk it... thank you...

LKC's First Fast CAT Trials start tomorrow, Friday, June 30. The course is all set. Here are some last minute items.

1) The trial is behind the Fire Department in Lampeter. DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT BEHIND THE FIRE HOUSE.
2) As you proceed to the trial, the course will be on your left. There is a row of trees that provides shade to the right. Do not park here as participants can sit and wait for their run in the shade. There will be some cars there however they are club members and volunteers that have dogs in their cars.
3) Proceed past the first building, the pavilion, and a second building all on your left. Turn left to the parking lot. Follow the signs. The restrooms are in the second building with entrances on the side of the parking lot.
4) Check in will be held in the small pavilion you drove by. This will also be where the ribbon pickup and photography station will be set up.
5) There will be two wading pools and hoses just down from the check in area.
6) Please bring water for your dog to drink. The potability of the faucets is not known.
7) This is our first trial and the first time at this venue. Please clean up after yourself and your dog. There will be trash receptacles around the trial. Help us be a great guest. Thank you!
8) Enjoy the trials. Best of luck to all and thank you for registering. We hope it is a great experience.
