What do you do when your 1st appointment of the day has to cancel? 1) Treat yourself to an extra hour of sleep, and 2) bring your own dogs to the salon for grooms! So, in addition to Rosie & Emma, Skye, Yoda, & Rebel kept me smiling & busy! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thought I’d share a visual to explain one of the tasks that takes longer to complete on certain types of coats. Drying, or the “blow out”, is done using a hand held, high velocity dryer which draws room-temperature air. Hair/fur that’s long or dense will, of course, take more time to dry. Add curls/coils, and the drying time may double! The curls can’t be clipped evenly, so the blowout not only dries, but straightens as well. And wow! Do those curls hold water! Have to love those curly-coated dogs who put extra time in on the drying table so cooperatively! 🥰
