Happy new years, friends. E is here to explain that unfortunately we will not be able to take checks anymore at LHVC starting this year. I'm sure you can figure out why. It's unfortunate, and we are sorry for any inconvenience. We still take cash, and all credit cards except American express.

Please be mindful of freezing temps. Some dogs breeds were not meant to be outside under a certain temperatures. Cats too!
Warm shelter, unfrozen water and of course, food, are necessary. And it's the law!

Just a reminder we will be closed this Wed, and reopening the Monday after Thanksgiving...so staff can enjoy their families and holiday.
I'm thankful for much, but this year I'm especially thankful for our new "puppy" who will be celebrating his first holiday season with a family ❤️

September is National Su***de Prevention Month. Because veterinary professionals are unfortunately among some of the most likely to take their own lives.

We’re sad to say that most veterinarians we know — ours included — have had a classmate die by su***de. Veterinarians and their support staff, are people, too. This field is hard, but we love your pets and love what we do! 💕

This is what we deal now with social media. This is NOT a client. They have no other Google reviews. They refuse to name their pet. They accuse Doctor Lewis of being on drugs, and they hide behind anonymity. Disgusting! I mean, LHVC isn't for everyone, but this comment reeks of disgruntled ex employee or competitor. Please give Dr L a shout out on social media. The staff work their behinds off, and they don't deserve this abuse!

Dr Lewis will be off August 29th and 30th. The office will still be open for medications and limited tech appts. We will also be fully closed on labor day. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday.
