Founded by Larry Mitton who started the business in 1996 under the name of Tough Stuff manufacturing located in San Diego CA. later moving to Michigan and later to New Holland PA. Intrepid operates out of a 33,200 sq. ft. building and operates factories in the USA and Taiwan, China, and India as well as owning two factories in the New Holland area . Intrepid International owns several patents and 14 registered trade names such as Foot Free Stirrups, Tie-Safe cross ties, Coronet Bits, Horse Quencher, Best Friend, Pro-Trainer, 2KGrey, Exselle and more. As a major manufacture of Equestrian Tack and riding apparel, Intrepid International provides products to both North America and South America as well as Europe and Asia.
